I really really hope Marist go down.

Predictions on Marist v Seatoun?

1pm Petone Memorial tomorrow if I have read it correctly

1-1 so goes to extra time, still 1-1. Nomad makes fabulous save of the 10th shot and Marist win 5-4 on pens. Dimakis in tears. Says Seatoun had the fastest boat. Actually in days gone by it has gone to a replay if drawn.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!
And we'll do our best to make ya sad Smif

Currently 3-0 to Seatoun at half time, Marist seem a bit lost. Should hopefully make an interesting second half

I'm positive things will go wrong.

Bright entertaining match. All the goals were scored at one end. 3-0 Seatoun at halftime. 3-2 fulltime.

Amazing achievement for Seatoun. Gotta say I'm surprised after playing against them twice this season but good on them. Were bottom of Cap 1 after 6 games too!!

Not too surprised by this result, maybe only a bit surprised Marist scored two goals. Glad I played a small part in dragging two teams down with me ha, meant the flights back weren't all for nothing!

Fuck this stupid game

Really? Seatoun are not a good side. Marist should have taken them comfortably.

They came third bottom prem which is greater than third in cap 1. They have a few useful footballers which is a couple more than seatoun

Based on a one off game a month after the season has finished  - no.
If Seatoun don't come last next year then you can call me stupid

We made a hash of it too be honest. Gifted them all three goals. The third probably the only they created, but only after we gave them the ball 35 yards out from goal. Seatoun had an amazingly nippy left winger. Who at half time they put into left back - really let us back into the game. Blargh, what can I say. When you are 3 down at half time it is always gonna be hard. Didn't score till about 70th minute, just left the comeback to late
Would say I was the busier keeper as well. Time for a beverage

What does a month after the season have to do with anything? And is 9th cap prem better than 2nd cap 1 as well?

Did you even watch the game? Seatoun had #15 in the middle who would be lucky to play cap4 at another club.

To be fair the last team to go up from third lasted two seasons and it might have been a third if not for the trickle down...and Seatoun are a first team so might gain a bit in the off season.

Marist were out played on the day. Should have played Wainui or Wellington United if it wasn't for the other results, whom im sure Seatoun would have also beaten. Well done to the Seatoun lads... in all honesty the score could have been 5-2, Seatoun screwed a few chances

Agreed I saved a 2 on 1 and then saved again at someones feet before I released the ball for us to score our first. Fo ur nil could have lead to an even bigger embarassment

Is relo gonna have much of an impact on squad personnel nomad? I was joking with smithy that a line of prem team coaches handing out business cards would meet the players as they came off

More likely to be a line of Central League coaches waiting for the disappointed Stop Out players I would have thought!

Definitely this. Especially with Scotty leaving. Anyone know who will take over as coach?

The big question is can Seatoun's star player, Casey Ferrier, replicate his form at Capital Premier level? Seatoun will need to make a few signings to stay up. Lia, Bertos and Lochead could be worth a look

Casey is well proven at Cap Prem! The question is whether he stays with Seatoun or comes back to the Bay for a shot at the title!

Without a doubt he has previously but he was the star of Cap 1 this year and he will need to do the same thing all year in the Capital Premier to keep them up. Seatoun must be dusting off the cobwebs and getting the cheque book out again.

The left winger someone previously mentioned can play a bit and would be getting some offers thrown at him by other clubs

Be patient.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

With our slightly 'nomadic' (hehe - punny) personel, you never know. I think the Brazilian experiment... well I should keep my opinions to myself. There are a lot of maybes at the club at the moment, with both mens and womens teams getting relegated. Hopefully the committee will get onto talking about coaches and other things ASAP

Well there'll certainly be a few vacancies to fill at the Bay with the Ole exodus...

They could probably pick up a few players from Rangers. No doubt the latest bunch of TW recruits will mysteriously find themselves in the Rangers first team next year.

Central United/ACFC 2.0?

How long was the futsal Brazilian there? Thought it was quite awhile which would be a bit more than an experiment. He disgraced himself most times I played against Marist, think you guys would have been far better off without him and I would be surprised if another prem team picked him up. Thought the other Brazilian midfielder was handy.

Central United/ACFC 2.0?

Not far from the mark, Peter Halstead for one come be a good CB for Seatoun.

With the recent result I guess it could be a similar partnership with ACFC involved in an Auckland A-League team

They'd blow the salary cap, and the number of imports rule, if they joined the A-League.

Very true.

They'd probably learn they can't do what they want in the A-League either..unlike the ASBP
