Form over last three home and three away games taking into account scoring ability. It does not include the chatham cup games so personally I go for greeks to win 3 to 1.

so whose predictions were you giving before?

True story that one of your midfielders has been hit with a ban stick from the club for a few weeks ?  Getting chopped the night before a match or similar ?

How about the rumour Jared Curtis will be back in Blue this weekend ?

Wow Miramar losing to the Naki haha thank you. "Xaxa"

Ye good win for Olympic 2-1, with some key players out..
Jimmy and Mikey.
2nd goal should have gone to Chaz Lawrence as his shot deflected off the cross bar and in. However the referee said it had not crossed the line. Lucky for the lino Mikey was there to follow it up, otherwhys the lino may have been shot by the mafia in the stands.

Table is looking pretty tight.
Nearly a perfect week buuuuut...Wests won.

As for that previous talk about George and not playing for the All Whites etc...give it time, hes only 21. Didnt you know in New Zealand football its who you know, not how good you r.

Wests and Rovers game was pretty close, both teams had chances to take the game but wests pouncing on a defensive error to get them the 3points napier pushed them to the end and were unlucky to get the win aswell would have been a different game if napier had scored 1st.

Keinzley more relieved than excited
09.06.2009
By Gary Caffell

Wairarapa United football coach Phil Keinzley greeted his team's 3-1 win over Wellington United in their Central League match at the Pugh Sports Bowl in Masterton on Sunday with relief more than excitement.

The victory saw Wairarapa United move from ninth to eighth in the 10-team competition and as such provided them with much needed breathing space in their battle to avoid possible relegation.

And that's why relief was the first feeling experienced by Keinzley when the final whistle sounded.

"I think everyone realised how important this win could be," Keinzley said yesterday.

"It doesn't mean we are out of the woods but it's a huge step in the right direction, that's for sure".

Keinzley was especially pleased with the dominance Wairarapa United had in terms of territory and possession in the second half after they went to the interval level pegging at 1-1.

He said the halftime team talk had revolved around the need to use the full width of the paddock to spread the Wellington United defence and hopefully create some gaps from which they could capitalise.

"It was all about applying pressure from the word go, and maintaining it all the way through," Keinzley said. Wairarapa United will have a rest this coming weekend with their scheduled match against Miramar Rangers at Miramar being postponed because of Miramar Rangers being involved in Chatham Cup action.

This means Wairarapa United's next assignment will be against Taranaki in New Plymouth the following weekend and Keinzley is anticipating having a full strength squad from which to select for about the first time this season. Back from suspension will be Adam Cowan and Andy Robertson and hopes are that goalkeeper Richard Gillespie will be recovered from the shoulder injury suffered on Saturday while playing club rugby in Hawke's Bay.

What made me laugh the most was the last comment about Richard Gillespie - I don't care if the guy is Waitakere's goalie, he isn't going to give you anywhere near the commitment you must need at Central League level if he is playing club rugby thelastnomad2009-06-10 15:18:17

He was good, no cards in what was a pretty well tempered game, even let players get away with verbalising their frustration. Dont know who he was but we got told before the game he was visiting from aussie, he reffed in full a-league officials kit.

Need some decent referees in this league.

on the topic of refferees(i trust there are some woho read the fourm) we had the same guy that we had when we played the mar and there was all the controvesy. i dont normally say too much about the reffs(believe it or not, it might be because da rest of my team does) but the guy we had on sunday was an absolut f$%k Wit when it came to communication.

made bad descions, which happens, no bias. but the way he talked to players, both teams was idioic, like he was a bad relieving teacher who was teaching english when their natral subject was math! radioman2009-06-11 14:03:06

It's a scientific fact that all goalkeepers aren't quite right in the head anyway. It's caused by burst blood vessels in the brain that come from yelling at defenders whenever they let a goal in.

In nicks case his brain damage has been caused by the numerous rolly pollies carried out on the edge of the box during play.

One of these days you will get chipped. Me and my video camera lay wait.

Nicks brain has also been affected by sniffing too much Kolo in the Olympic changing rooms. Nick will be the first to admit that at times his brain does not quite function correctly, as has been shown through various acts, such as:
- Taking on strikers with cruyf turns
- Completing variou rolly pollys on the edge of the box
-  and most recently practicing penalties with the football in his goal during the match

Now days I dont even go to Newtown to watch football, I just turn up to see what Nick will peform each week. Perhaps this week will be acrobatics? Perhaps this calls for a poll.
Poll on the website that is nick not on the field..

Hicham got another Hicham special. No idea how he did it, the defender looked goal side enough and it was about 25 yards out, but in it went. Only bright spot for us today. The ref made some rather mysterious calls too.

Even the greeks in the crowd enjoyed that goal rightstr. As for the ref I thought he had a pretty good game, it looked that way from the stands.

A dog with a bone :)
