Someone on here must have been at the game.

Spectator Supplied : Lower Hutt scored after about 20 minutes through Tobias Bertsch with a well taken goal, they then got a pen in the second half which Tobias then converted, and then scored again with 15 to go when Tobias broke down the left and crossed into Cam Lidstone who put it past the keeper. Olympic had some good chances But were denied by the Lower Hutt keeper who had a good game, Lower Hutt also claimed the O’Brien Shield.

Caleb Hilbron not Cam Lidstone. We did a bit of a switch!

And apparently Caleb hammered it into Withers face from about a yard away!

Wests were fantastic today against Napier, the best Ive seen of them all season. Ryan Thomas is a work horse, really enjoy watching him play football

Miramar came back from 0-1 and 1-2 (at HT) to beat Wgtn United 4-2. All four Mir goals by Ryder, with excellent assists from his wingers.

I was at the Wests game too, very good team at the moment. Ryan Thomas was exceptional and I thought the 2 American lads were good as well. Another forgotten face I noticed for Napier was Cole Peverley in midfield, although Napier didn't play their best I think that he ran their midfield very well, worked hard and was very strong on the ball. He didn't have much support in midfield with him and how some of these 'academy' players are getting trials with the Nix and players like him are still floating around at central league level is beyond me, but I suppose it comes down to who you know hey.

It's a shame Wests are so far behind Mar...5/6 games left is not enough to make up 10 points in my opinion, they looked like a league winning team yesterday.

The old attitude and expectation IMO

Good kid too Arnon. Glad to see him playing at the top level. Presume the goal was a "Tapp in"?? Zing!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

If fact I think it was Arnons first touch of the game.

Predictions for the weekend? Wests vs Wairarapa probably the most exciting game although Lower Hutt Mar will be interesting too.

Miramar to win and Petone to win thus putting Petone in their rightful place as the top team in the valley.

Lower Hutt have done Olympic a huge favour holding Miramar to a draw.

Amazing game at Endeavour today, real nail biter for the home supporters. They had a 2-1 lead into half time but had a red card late on as we'll. Rapa came out firing after the break and with the numerical advantage managed to get ahead 2-3. Then Rapa got a red and let Wests back into it. Wests 4th goal was a beaut too, one of the American boys caught the keeper off his line from about 40-45 yards out

Results this weekend so far have closed the top four up and it looks like we will be down to the last round to find a winner.

I text my mate at about 60 minutes of the Olympic game saying' I love watching Olympic self destruct'. They then scored 4 goal!

Something for everyone at this stage of the season. Wairarapa play Olympic and Miramar in the next two weeks and then Olympic and Miramar play each other. Wests also play Miramar and Olympic in the next two weeks.

There has been a good battle going on all season with the next four, Lower Hutt, Petone, Napier and Upper Hutt with teams moving four places at a time some weeks.

For Tawa and Wellington it basically comes down to one game in two weeks time  and then Tawa are going to have to sneak a point somewhere else for survival. .

Pretty tidy first season from Upper Hutt in this league.

I just looked at this. A central league with 1 team in Napier and 1 in masterton. Wow

Most likely another team from Central will have a crack at getting back in.

Was not there, as covering Prem game:

This is what happened...

Referee who was South African was verbally abused at half-time as he walked off in a number of derogatory Afrikaans terms by a spectator which was completely uncalled for!

Heard  from some of those LHC supporters present that the person was not a Lower Hutt Supporter, and was wearing a blue and white scarf.  While anyone can wear a scarf of their choice, would think that LHC supporters would NOT be wearing blue scarfs while playing Miramar.

I don't believe I have seen a Miramar issue scarf - may have been an English/Scottish club scarf which are seen regularly on the side lines of many games around the world.

There will be an official complaint or something similar given the target of abuse?

From memory the home team will be held accountable?

Personally I think auto relegation is a heck of a lot better than a play off. I was always pro auto-drop as it was a bit of a joke how a team got an extra life. Will be interesting to see how Tawa and Utd go scrapping it out
