unfortunate for the villagers, but I did worry for them when they conceded two late at home. They are a very young side and did lack a bit of composure. Hard for them as they are clearly too good for the local scene

A good number of them are year 13, remains to be seen if they field a similar team next year

Petone are looking for a new Coach for their CL campaign. Any hats in the ring yet ?

I've also heard another CL team is in the market for a new coach but have seen nothing official yet.

there will be a few changes as Cap Footy are insisting all coaches next season need at least a C licence - only 60% of coaches in the league last season had one

Oh that's great. Anthony Hudson and that Clown who coached the Phoenix two seasons ago had all the qualifications.  Perhaps they will apply.

Sven Goran Ericsson was looking for a coaching job in NZ recently.

Or you could just have a team that's financially backed by the only professional football team in the country because your club was so in debt they had no other choice huh Steve?

Would you prefer all teams in Central League to have 17 year olds playing? I have heard both the Nix and Ole are all for Olympic to put out a strong MATURE team so that there is decent competition in the league.

Instead of blaming Olympic and historically Wairarapa, how about having a serious look at the mercenary players who demand the money or they are off to the likes of Stop Out etrc. No loyalty to clubs only to the $. Hopefully with what TW have done this year around player payments it flows down to CL teams.

So in your defense of Olympic you throw Stop Out under the bus instead? How about everyone start looking after their own backyards and stop crying on here.

well the team that won the Central League this season had an average of about 18 and they were clearly the best in the league this season and deserved winners

I'm surprised you think Ole are concerned about what Olympic do, pretty sure Ole aren't that bothered

as for decent competition in the league, take out Rapa & Wgtn United there were 22 points between 8th and 1st not that bad for competition!

well leftfootonly, why don't you practice what you preach and look in your own backyard, like you suggest?

You are one of the biggest criers on here when it comes to your club!

Oh yeah, so you have an in depth knowledge of the financials and inner workings of the club? Maybe you can shed some light on the costs of these players

What have I missed?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
