Now 2-1 Tawa.  Goal each in quick succession.

Vital away goal for the ten man Titanic ?

Can they drop the number of teams in the Central League to 9? Cause both of them aren't good enough for that league.

average game, good on tawa.
Highlights, class withers first goal.
Tawas best player; scott cameron
Uniteds best; Hicham
Tawas worst' Bellman
Uniteds right back also atrocious (not chang the other guy)

When is your beef with Tawa going to stop?! You really sound like an idiot. A few pages back you said "United matched it with most of the teams in Central league but a few major flaws lacked them from winning any." So Tawa obviously managed to match it with United and maybe Tawa won't have the same major flaws to stop them winning any Central League games if they get promoted.

Tawa did win 3-1. Yes Tawa were rubbish first half but to United's credit their attack came out firing. 2nd half Tawa were much better and should have scored 4 or 5. About a 5-5 drew (seriously) would probably have been a fair result.

Tawa haven't played at Central league level this year. They played Wests a couple of weeks ago in a friendly (yes a friendly), but they managed to keep up with them for most of the game. They also won the Hilton Petone. Yes, it's a pre-season tournament but it still shows some of the quality that they possess. A couple of recruits and Tawa would have a reasonable team for Central League.

One bad half for Tawa against United doesn't mean they don't deserve to be in Central League you idiot!Oranje2009-09-19 18:50:03

Anyway enough about the game, what about afterwards. United=a bunch of sore f***** losers (not everyone cause I have a couple of good mates in the team. Tawa go back to Redwood to have after match speeches and put on a bit of food for them but they decide to do a no show. Yes not one Wellington United player turned up which I think really sucks. It was a good hard fought match and to have some speeches and that sort of thing but no one shows up. Good on the officials for doing so though!!! Apparently some players did want to turn up but there coach is an absolute w**ker and told them not to come or something.
TAWA AFC come on!!!

By the way fan of the day has to bobbolton. What a voice, great chants, lots of humour alround top block. But seriously great support from Tawa overall lead by dickhead bob haha

i think i saw Bob for the first time after the game. Either him or some downie kid.
Worst Ive seen Tawa play in the first half. More business as usual in the second. Hashpipe or whatever his name is will be a threat in the 'away' leg.

Im not sure what as worse- the pen (what was that for?) or the follow up

are you serious?

no offence to piney.... but jamie nick out... sean hen out..... bellman bassically was tawas defence...
to say he was tawas worst is an insult to tawas defensive performance today to be nil all at half time huge effort from bellman and lance rest of the team was wellington uniteds best player (rest of the team couldnt even pass the ball)

hicham most overrated player ever couldnt even count his offsides on 1 hand.... seriously stop rating this guy.... hes rubbish... come to a club you deserve to play at greeny... tawas where you belong.....

8 goals to go..... 11-1 aggregrate will do me fine.

well done tawa. they are a decent side, the current team would win a few games in CL and if they go up and pick up a couple of players they might win one or two more.

fair red. suited his hair. If you tell the ref to f off then you have a 50/50 chance of getting marched. Utd officials weren't happy

Like I said I have heard about it and only you and maybe one or two others wanted to come back. Thats f**ken sh*t I think and if your coach is like that which I think it sounds like then why the hell did they get rid of Ross Durant. Coach=muppet

Like I say footballmad, I don't know of the ins or outs.  It's poor and well deserving of an apology.  I was planning on heading over, but once I finished catching up with a few people after the game, I realised that no-one was heading there. And if I turned up by myself, I probably would have entered to a "Dale is a whale" chant.

I thought it was "Dale shagged a whale", which is ironic because as far as I know you're not getting any even from monsters of the deep.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Hey  Dale it's Karl by the way fair call mate. Hopefully the coach gives an explanation at Newtown next week
I have heard rumours about you and the whale. Quite funny while playing and you hear a chant like that. No wonder I was so sh*t!!!
