Went up to watch Warkworth v Ngongotaha. Didnt know much about the away side but they seemed to have a decent skill level and were quite a young and fit side.
In saying that, Warkworth had the best share of the play and ended up 2-1 winners care of a late Rob Carty goal, a nice one from about 20 yards out.
Good way to spend a couple of hours.

Stop Out 7 Stokes Valley 0. Stop Out rested a few. I hate the wind...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Went to Rovers v Map. Pretty average game considering the scoreline. Both sides were rubbish. However Gfield's 3rd goal was a screamer.

Three for me, and two for them.

If you get two yellow cards in Chatham Cup, do you get suspended from the next cup game, or just the next league game?

Barry as the last man and dragged down emi close to the edge of the box. Emi made a bit of a meal of it.

2 of us watched this game on saturday can somebody please explain why Portious jumped ship to Wharfies. wharfies lacked structure and forward thinking apart from one save from UH keeper never really looked like scoring. Who was the other dude in coaches box yelling out insructions, I thought Portious was coach, talk about mixed messages, no wonder they aint going anywhere fast. I thought Wharfies were better than this.

Anyway I'm still wondering why would you want to coach this team and leave a team of some good young up coming players that make the UH team at present, that you have been building over the last 2 - 3 years.

Dont get me wrong I'm not stirring just asking.

Ian did a bloody good job for us in the 3 years he was at Upper Hutt building and working on the squad the bulk of what we have today. Ian left for his own personal reasons .and maybe Ian is doing the same for Wharfies as he did for us. . end of . ryos4phoenix2011-05-16 12:41:29

Bruce Duncan. Ian Porteous is Director of Football at the Wharf, his role is wider than just that of the men's first team coach.

Rough draw for Lower Hutt.  Wests then Rapper.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Taradale's had it much tougher though.

Bye followed by Red Sox. It'll be a heroic effort to get to the third round through that minefield.
