Last time I played I got suspended for the final for a yellow in the very first match and a yellow in a semi - didn't reset at the quarters so check it greenie.  Stupid rule by the way...

yeah thats why Ive found it better to not mess around with yellows and head straight for the red.

are there fines for getting booked/sent off at the Hills Petone??

[looks around and whistles as if nothing happened]

...

on a nicer note, they put me down as the scored of my team's second goal though I had been subbed off 5 minutes before! funny eh!

I emailed them back informing them of the mistake - in case you're wondering!

Good evening ladies, sorry for the league of absence, im sure i was greatly missed.

Greeks narrowly beat the Sharks today, 3-2, 2-0 HT.
Jimmy, Mikey and Churchy for us and a absolute screamer from Luchiano for island bay and im not sure about the first goal scorer for island bay.

So far, 3 games into the season and no red cards. Good signs.uncle steve2009-03-01 23:41:20

Progress today.

Petone B leading Marist B 1-0 although Marist went straight down the other end after the goal and hit the upright.

Wharfies had more chances in the first 35 against North Wellington, but Norths had the best chance and are playing a nice brand of football.

Only know the final in those two. Petone B won 2-1... Smithy now wanting to be known as 'voyeur' and 0-0 in the other with Feverish carried off after some 18yo weighing 50 kilos flattened him... or so he claims.

as I was lying there winded for about a minute - Jim Murphy pipes up with "It's all right Greenie, you can get up now, I'm not going to yellow card you for the tackle"

tawa were quality from the get go.

1st goal s romjin cut back to c/k romijin for a tidy finis
1-0h/t
2nd was a goonear post ball from c/k romijin down the left and young l fenton got infront of j peak for a tidy near post header.
3rd was the 50yr bald striker(who i am not haveing a go at becasue i think he's quality but dont know his name)beat the of side trap and hit a dipping volley from 10yards outside the left corner of the box.

lancey made a couple og good saves for tawa. shugg and fenton and scotty were quality in the middle for tawa. LH just pumped it long with little affect

sunday
LH      v              the mar
petone  v    island bay
olympic    v   upper hutt
these are all sunday at 5pm

tawa v warfies  monday at 6pm
and all b 1/4's are on mon and tues but i dont know who's playing who

The bald guy is Peter Withers. Old enough for Masters but still the best striker in Prem.

saw the Lhutt v taw game and if it wasnt a fluke tawa lookin good this year
team was                                  gk: lance r
rb: riki stevenson          cb: s.hennessy        cb: bellman                  lb: k romijn

rm: s romijn                  cm: russell shugg      cm: scotty cameron            lm: conor dunne

fw: l fenton           fw: rudiger cozeter

yea that bald striker seems to b a bigger threat maybe this year if he continues to be coming off the bench agaisnt tired defences.good to see footballing talent like scotty & rudi at taw, that fenton looks small but good, and that jason b is back this year, they lookd well organised at the back & won everything in midfield
