Ye Chaz scored a great goal last night from out on the left wing across the keeper into the top corner. We won 4-1 over Upper Hutt after going 1 0 down. Wellington Coll finish top with us 2nd. Dont know whos playing who or if its been sorted but when it does can someone update me on whos playing who?
Cheers

Just had to ruin the moment didnt ya feverish.

Let me bathe in the knowledge that if we do end up facing miramar, whatever the side they put out, a win over them early in the 2009 campaign hopefully is a mental blow and lets us stroll on our merry way to doing the double over our favourite team this season.

Sorry to rain on your parade Uncle Steve but its our 2/3rd team that has and will play in the Hilton Petone.

But then again we beat your first team last year with our seconds in Levin.

You couldn't accuse any of Halstead/Whiting or Rowe of chasing money.

B Little...dunno.

yea that bald striker seems to b a bigger threat maybe this year if he continues to be coming off the bench agaisnt tired defences.good to see footballing talent like scotty & rudi at taw, that fenton looks small but good, and that jason b is back this year, they lookd well organised at the back & won everything in midfield

why didnt you just tell us tawa was good we dont need to know their life story

???
Who cares, why dont you guyes just put your top team in?
No matter what team plays for miramar, whenever the two teams meet its always a tough game.
Its jst that natural rivalry which I believe is by far the best game of the year.
Never the less I hope you get killed and Olympic win 25 nil.
First lets see what happens tomorrow, upper hutt with a few players may cause an upset who knows, and miramar might forget to pay the ref or stroke his bak every 2 seconds and not go through so wel just see what happens ay!

I actually think G Little is bang on keeping his first teamers out of it.  Hilton's been great this year with a bit of rain around to soften the grounds up but some years it's just a recipe for injuries.  Especially when you've got a lot of players coming out of NZFC it makes a bit of sense to just put the one team in.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

No finals but in to the second half:

- Petone lead Island Bay 1-0.  Heroics from Ganville with a Peanlty save and a couple of other real crackers.
- Bubbles were 1-0 up over Upper Hutt
- Miramar and Lower Hutt were tied up 0-0.  Fever scholarship finalist (and having a chance to train with the Phoenix) James McPeake had come off injured and a 14yo had taken over.
- Petone 2nds were up 4-2 over Island Bay 2nds.

And he'll get to again thanks to them and YF.

By the way the lad that came in for him, Scott Basalaj, is superb.

Young Scott was good, very mature for his age. He got a hand on the goal but couldnt keep it out.
Miramar were down to 10 players at that stage and Lower Hutt went down to 10 shortlly after the goal was scored.

In div 2 Wellington College 4 beat Seatoun  0. Wellington Utd beat Bubbles, dont know the score and Lower Hutt beat Marist 5 - 4 on penalties after a 1 all draw.
