... does that imply perhaps Phoenix Womens Reserves playing in the Central Region Premier Womens league to make it 10 teams, instead of playing against U15-boys

thats what I have been told. Palmie and Miramar both promoted, and nix into the mix.

Their 'third' team will be playing in the Women's Central League next year ... we will see who they play / what is actually enforced though

The growth numbers certainly are eye popping. But even more than the numbers, the intangible benefits, the growth of communities, the empowerment, and validation for the people involved, the good problems identified, and the value it is adding to our football community is unbelievable.

Some impressive post-WWC numbers in there, along with a focus on Eastbourne and Seatoun (and our very own Flea).

In the Northern Regional Football Women's Championship Melville Women are top of the table and undefeated after 4 rounds. This is the highest Melville's Women have ever been in the NZ Football Women's Pyramid (They were promoted to the Championship from the WaiBOP W-League last year and finished 4th (out of 8 teams) in their first year in the Championship.
