See, this is why coaches shouldn't post on interweb forums.

I'm not embarrassed have you not seen the last posts he put on that's embarrassing .

can only put it down to a bong or two

Permalink Permalink

what's embarrassing is a teacher and his mates drinking out of coffee cups behind the scoreboard , and abusing  people like the Nelson coaches who put a lot into the game

Seriously? We're going there? I actually had a good chat with Biggsy, father in law of one of my mates so I got nothing to be ashamed of. Lots of good banter with coaches, we get on well with all of the opposition coaches, even you!

Character assassinations probably aren't the work of a first team coach though right?

is that alcohol fuelled banter that's sneaked in or supplied from the dugout and put in coffee cups, and yes feral was the word that I heard the Nelson people call you.

Character assassinations remember I'm a grub , I think that's what you we're calling me in front of my lad . Not a lot would say to my face though . Through coffee cups

If only, that would make Satdys a whole lot better.  Just quit while you're behind.

I mentioned this last week broonie following the uni game with coastal. I have to agree in that I was disgusted with some of the so called banter. Lets not make this a slanging match but find a way forward to be passionate about your team over personal insults and slang. Chill, its just a game or perhaps have a puff of ekows bong :)

whose behind vim

It's not point scoring , just stating  what we all know

We don't expect you and your crews respect but we certainly don't need to put up with disrespect from the coffee cup brigade and people at thier club

Um, so everyone here is ok with accusations of illegal activity and slander on an open forum? Is that what we've come to?

I certainly am. But then, nobody listens to me. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! Or something like that anyways.

This whole forum is an absolute laugh...

Why pick on Coastal when all they are doing is being an atmosphere to Canterbury football??

Been down to many of there games and love it!! A bit of banter to opposition is what happens in football!!

Big talking point is broonie bringing up the referees decision making?? Is it just me or is it de Ja vu when tech lost against eastern suburbs in Chatham cup?? Maybe just take a loss on the chin for once!! As an outsider I love what coastal spirit are doing by bring an atmosphere back to Canterbury football!!

Last point is..

If you don't know football don't comment!

Love football !

Tim Tam. Can we be friends? I think the whole city is loving what Uni did yesterday. ALSO, I just got told old mate Broonie is a tech first team coach!!!!!? WOW they are some incredibly unprofessional comments followed by a 4-2 loss.... not a good look :( Coastal train refuses to bite back as Coastal train can see Broonie has made a fool of himself.

lol of course we can be friends! Why wouldn't town be talking about that result, tech are quality and everyone loves an underdog tale. But uni showed exactly what they have been capable of for some time, yesterday it all fell in place! Broonie was nothing but complimentry to uni and he should be applauded for that, its a tough pill to swallow I'm sure but he admitted they were beaten by a good side. I'm not going to go into any argument between tech and coastal as its not the place to do it, any grievances should be aired between the two in person Imo ?

Maybe I missed something edited out however I didn't see any crack at anyone, only the Train saying thanks to Uni, which anyone in the chasing 7 spots must be happy about.  First shot that was fired was a crack about bongs, which is pretty cheap.

I wouldn't know how much bongs are if there pretty cheap I'll take your word for it, I think he also gave danny and I serve last week. Which your coach knew he did it  he quickly asked  him not to within minutes or possibly even with him when typing

I piped up cause out of nowhere someone was bagging Messiah and Tim Tam was trying to squash our sideline banter so just defending the cause as 80% of neutrals are loving it. Halligan was quality on the sideline yesterday. He even gave us a wave at one point. Was great times.  He's a pro. Unlike you, video footage of you giving Coastal bench wanking gestures with your tongue out after you score 1st goal.  Like, how do you get away with all this? I'm scared to see what kind of monster you will be when we beat you.

A little birdie told me your call going 3 at the back was a screamer ?? Nice mate. Were your players happy with that? Hilarious as a reputable coach you bite back at all this. Surely surely Tech board are not a fan?

I'm going to be in trouble for writing all that and probably banned completely, but I really just can't help it. For the record I don't do drugs, just have a bit of a drinking problem... something in common?

Oh my gosh!! Is this what comes with being an MPL coach? Mayhem. Can I please ask all Coastal supporters to simmer down. You know we all love your enthusiasm which I admire but 1. Let's just keep it football and 2. Let's let results do the talking without getting ahead of ourselves. Entertainment for some but let's be gracious.

Apologies to all and a special apology to you Mr Brown.

Definitely a top 3 bottom 5 split now with only 5 points separating the top 3 and 4 points separating the bottom 5 teams. Looks like being the most interesting season for a few years.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?
