Either that or Greenie is now coaching Upper Hutt

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Oh my....

Others...
Wharfies 1 Seatoun 0
Valeron Wanderers 0 Wellington United Diamonds 0
Marist 2 Lower Hutt City 2
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

LH 1 Wharf 3

Valeron 9 UH1

Utd 0 Marist 2

Seatoun 1 Massey 1

A bit of gossip for this thread. Upper Hutt have done the dirty and poached Wellington United's NZ representative goalkeeper midseason. Must be the money, because it sure ain't the talent. But it might help them win the promo-relegation game, which they seem destined for.

there is no promo-relegation game in Central League - it is automatic. She should get more practice there.

She was playing men's cap 2 and WCL at United... Poor decision and leaving the team before mid season and Upper Hutt coach= no principles

Whatever. She was the best keeper in the league, and regardless of her representative status, this is poor form from both her and Upper Hutt.

UH have asked (and been turned down by) every keeper in the area to join them. You could probably say it might be a rash decision if it was a youngster - but I'm sure a 32 year old can make calculated decisions

clearance denied - maybe she forgot to return her gloves

I totally agree mate. She is not 19 anymore, poor decision and I've heard United its not happy with UH club

Maybe money???

Permalink Permalink

doubt there is money involved -but if there is then Utd have tried to tempt players with $ in the past (not mid season though). End of the day the decision rests with the player

Agree... Decision rest with the player.... Question is: is she guna have any chance to develop her game ???

Perhaps wgtn utd need to take a look at what they promised and didn't deliver on. There are a couple of bitter people who if they looked at this from the players perspective they would understand why she left, and they know why she left. People need to get their facts straight before jumping on this forum and trashing other clubs, especially when they are no better themselves. This keeper wants to develop her game and improve on the ability she has to make herself the best she can be. If you as a player feverish and all others who have spoken out wanted to develop yr game and be the best you could be would you not go where you think will be best for your development? Especially if yr not getting any development where u are? Upper Hutt have the best coach in women's football playing on their team, a coach who has outsmarted you feverish on a number of occasions.  Would you not want to learn and develop from that knowledge? It's not always about what the score line says, it's about having a development plan in place to help you achieve your goals and a team around you that supports these goals. There is no money or payment of any kind involved and personally I don't think half the people commenting on this have any right to say the Upper Hutt coach has no principals. You all need to take a look in your own back yards before throwing comments like that around.

good info (if a bit one sided).

As I said - she is mature enough to make up her own mind - and it seems she has transferred for what she deems to be her best interests.

I question whether I have ever been outsmarted by Julie Bannatyne however..

good response  tactix-reasoned. people ranting in here may be associated with Wgtn United but are not speaking in clubs behalf and have no right to; although have a right to their opinion. official club comment comes from chairman mumbino, and noone else-goid lyck to cushla and upper hutt - if it makes the league more competitive all the better, i for one am really looking forward to tge return game at Newtown now! cheers ( sorry bout spelling-damn tablet)

From what I understand the player concerned hasn't paid subs, and, funnily enough, hasn't returned her gloves.

Tactix is entitled to his misspelt and slightly incoherent opinion, but I will continue to call it as I see it. If "wgtn utd need to take a look at what they promised and didn't deliver on", did she ever raise that with either the Coach or the Club before? If not, poor form. And not bothering to mention it to any of her team is, at least in my opinion, again poor form.

Nevertheless, the return fixture promises to be a cracker. Let's hope UH can keep all 11 players on the pitch this time.

I hope Upper Hutt use the oppourtunity to play proper football. They have the ability and skill out on the field, now they also have it in goal I feel a bit of fear from other clubs, knowing they will have some competition. Good Luck to UH I say, Good things to happen!

Unless they win this weekend their good things won't be happening in Central League next year. Saying that I think they will have a sniff in the big game this weekend if they walk the talk.
