A pity Roar went out so early. I've enjoyed watching them and really thought they had a chance to win the thing. But that's knockout finals for you; couple of crucial errors, don't put your chances away and you are done.

So far 2 crap teams have made it. City & Sydney should eat them up and make the final. But will it happen?
Both " crap " teams finished above us. Does that make us crap as well     :)

It makes us unbeaten in 11.

Wow - another crucial 'home' away game.  Macarthur can get to the final having played 21 of 28 games in NSW - inside around 2 hours drive.

I sure enjoyed our 1.

I know, I know, its serious!

Looking like a much more even contest with so many crucial MC players missing.

Not to mention that this is basically an away game for City.

What a play by Reis to stop a certain goal

Three great chances in three minutes.

Who’s out for City? Metcalfe, Nabbout, McLaren, Noone? They are moving outside the penalty area fine, but not really threatening as they did.

2-0 and all over. The theatrics by some leave a lot to be desired. Goloncoski (?) worst actor around. He deserved a 2nd yellow just for that.

City will be far too strong next season. Should win it by a mile.

Depends if City can keep J-Mac or not, isn't easy to replace that kinda goal scoring easily.

Sydney would have given them a run for their money this season if they were able to have ALF for the full season. Kosta had a great season but Sydney was really struggling up front until Bobo turned up. So with ALF on board for next season (and likely to keep Bobo as well), they are probably City's biggest threat again.

What's more embarrassing? The fact the trophy is identical to a toilet seat or the fact fans are taking the piss out of it and wearing toilet seats? Whoever designed that trophy should be ashamed and the FFA for accepting the design.

Interesting game thus far. Not sure I would have given that penalty but the cards were warranted and the first 2 goals were awesome.
