Ended 3-2, I fell asleep but it sounds like WSW tried its hardest to throw away that 3 goal lead.

A Victory win tonight would be rather handy

Must be about time Rojas did us some favours.

That feels a soft penalty but it's upheld. Brimmer converts, 0-2.

Macarthur equalizer ruled out by the VAR. Not 100% sure with that TV angle tbh

Tough ask for a tired Jets to stop CCM tonight but it's a derby so anything is possible. Let's hope Jets do us a favour.

Weather will be a great equaliser in this one, plus being a derby that the aussies love to hate so much, historically incredibly even 18 wins, losses and draws.

Defensive cockup and the Jets are behind. What was Jack Duncan doing out there?

1-0 Mariners, against the run of play, but a nice touch from the brazilian #10 and just poor defending from the jests.

Lots on this forum calling Sail best GK in league. But Birighetti the best for me. Once again game changing saves early on.
Seems to be the same script as when CCM played us last week.

Well this one is basically over....
2-0

And Duncan is at the other end of best.
Now 2-0 CCM

Birighetti is one of the best, Sail up there as well, there are several others that are decent, Reddy for one.

2-0 to CCM, just woeful defending.

I guess there's a certain warped pleasure to be had from seeing a team rather than the Nix get an absolute hiding.

there have been a good number of smashings thins season, congested schedules having their impact on everyone.

Sail and Birighetti are rightly the two best keepers by virtue of being basically error free all season, whereas all the others, including Reddy, Kurto and Young, have had great games but have had a sprinkling of costly howlers in there too.

jests hit back after half time 3-1
and 2 minutes later an oggie makes it 3-2.
4 goals out of 5 from defensive errors.

There are a lot of things I like about Storm Roux but he's made a career out of bad defending and that was a prime example.

Now Farrell is getting in on the dodgy defending act!

3-2

At least there's a bit of interest in this one now. Glad I refrained from turning it off at HT.

Haven't really managed a meaningful attack since those two early goals.

Watching Nkololo toying with another team I feel we owed Louis Fenton some defensive support and protection. And McGarry too.
Or to put it another way- we should have got two or even three players to smash him early!
But those days of vintage Phoenix football are gone…

Bugger, this will be ruled out for sure....

It is Kurt Ams after all.

Ah so a 2 handed push in the back is considered a foul in the A league. Another apology to L Fenton.

Maaan. Nkololo now playing as a traditional number 9 after playing anywhere in the forward line or midfield against us.
He identifies the opposition’s weaker players and targets them- here getting under Hoffman’s skin.
