Macarthur have now conceded 14 goals in their last 5 games, after only conceding 2 in their first 5 games.

Canberra put 4 past the WSW Ladies. We still have 1 game vs WSW, so maybe can avoid the spoon?

Bugger it, why couldn't Gauci have gifted us a goal like that?

1-0 to City.

Cancelled out by Glover's howler at the other end. Or is that too harsh? Either way Javi Lopez attempts a cross, ends up lobbing it over the outstretched keeper's fingers into the net.

Shocking back pass allows Toure to swoop and put the Reds ahead with 5 to go.

City paying the price for not making their chances pay.

No classic that one. Reds win 2-1 by virtue of making less mistakes.

WSW with a much needed 2-0 win at home over a struggling Victree side.

Kelava with an error in judgement for Wanderers first, caught in no man's land coming tentatively for a ball that he was never going to get, and being beaten by the header. Also comes and collects Ibini to concede a penalty for the second.

Popovic not finding it so easy all of a sudden? 🤔

Kelava is proof that an import keeper isn't necessarily a good idea. Been very prone to misjudgements, flapping and generally dodginess all season.

Did us a nice favour too. Keeps us in fifth.

I enjoy Victree struggling in general, Kelava has been a bit of a flop (literally) as far as I'm concerned. I am enjoying the general closeness of the league this year too - Disjointed as it has been so far.

Usually there is one or two teams making a break for it early on and the rest are squabbling it out for positions. If you can put together a good run like we have over the past couple of weeks, you can shoot right up the table.

J-Mac, deadly in the 6 yard box. 1-0 just before half time

Leckie slots home for 2-0 & moments later, Regan gets a second yellow. It's all gone Pete Tong for the Jets here.

Is the Perth vs Brisbane game not on sky?

Doesn't appear to be, so I'm watching on YouTube via a VPN. It is probably on the Bein app again.

Glory 1-0 up from the penalty spot.

Matti just isn't living up to the hype for the Roar, obviously suited our system better. Still Perth 1-0.

Melbourne City 2-0 up over Sydney in the Ladies game on atm.

Thought I'd watch a bit of Western United and Wanderers for a bit of research for next Sunday night.

Wanderers are pure sharke, offered nothing going forward so far and just now find themselves a goal down thanks to Prijovic managing to best the offside trap.

Let's see what the remainder brings, but based on what I've seen so far, we'd be head and shoulders above Rudan and his mob.

2-0 H/T Western United. Garuccio with a Rudan killer right before the break.
WSW haven't done anything, could easily have been 3 or 4 at the break.

Nkololo with the opener for CCM (which I reckon Sail would've saved).

Cancelled out by JMac pen after an interminable VAR review by Shaun Evans as Kisnorbo yells advice in his ear. Foul looked outside the box to me but it's all a lottery with most of these refs.

1-1

VAR farce. After giving what was probably not a penalty in the 1st half Evans fails to give what looked like a stonewall penalty for CCM after Leckie clearly stamped on Miller's foot.

Took him another yet five minutes to decide no pen, then sprayed yellow and reds around as the CCM players and bench went bananas.

Kris Giffiths-Jones, you are an embarrassing waste of space in any position in the A League. You gave 1 penalty that wasn't and didn't give one that was. You are an absolute TURD. And Sean Evans is not far behind you. The A League's Referees Association has to sack you both. And I'm not a CCM fan.

That’s on Evans right? VAR has told him to have a look?

Well, I don’t think anything that blatant has happened to the Nix. That is…wow, just wow.

13 minutes of injury time - 10 of which were wasted by the VAR decisions - Both of which required ony 1 replay to see what the solution was.

Yeah, even allowing for LG's completely understandable frustration with KGJ he would've been recommending Evans have a second look at it. How Evans has taken five minute to make the wrong decision is beyond me.

That it took KGJ so long to get him over to view it was pathetic. That KGJ didn't make the call for a penalty is beyond belief. Why didn't he call it??

The interview with the CCM Coach was excellent and the Studio crew are giving VAR heaps. It's not VAR, it's the people using it and the lack of accountability. McBreen was spot on.

Fenton's 'hand ball' is the only thing that comes close.
