SS5 for Uffie's Sydney away to an Irankunda-less Adelaide

I'm putting it down to the new coach bounce, but 15 minutes into Uffie's reign with the Sky Blues and they are head and shoulders above anything Corica managed to get out of that lot over the past 18 months.

Yeah. I thought they would do well with a fresh start. That lolley guy I remember was all through the highlights in the first few rounds but hasn’t got the goals until now

And Adelaide copping a bad call for yellow, about as bad as Pennington got.

John Aloisi must surely be the next in line to be sacked right? Western are not great. 0-1
He signed a multi year extension just a few months ago. He did bring them a championship, but yeah, pressure has to be on when you also look at their performance last season.

That Popovic tackle was way worse and the ref just waved it on.

I like watching Adelaide but it's kind of enjoyable seeing them get a hiding. Not over yet though.

Yep, he wouldn't have had any time for real changes.

I should remember this guy’s name. Respect this ref for twice telling VAR to shove off. He’s called the pen, VAR said - have a look and he has and stuck with his decision. Most refs don’t have the ego to do that, and I think he was right both times.

Kersey..
From what I remember a good ref and yes if they get called to review the VAR, whoever is in the booth will be trying to convince him against his call. Good on him

This might be the first post that has ever said anything nice about Kersey.

Victory get an added time equaliser to draw 1-1 with Macarthur. Saw a couple clips on Twitter, looks like Davila's got the ball on a string again, so great to see.

And it finishes 1-0 bugger

Uffy definitely out coaching Rudan tonight. Only reason WSW won this was due to a brain snap at the back by SFC and some quite awful finishing from SFC including an open net and several other clear cut shots

Roar up 2-0, pretty average game. The heat and turf ain't helping it.
