Milly Clegg didn’t feature for Western Sydney Wanderers last night, and she won’t play against Wellington Phoenix next weekend either, because she’s only 17. Can’t play for an overseas club until she thrns 18 on November 1.

3 Kiwi girls in the goals this weekend. Jale. Wilkinson and Blake.
Be interesting to see who wins the kiwi golden boot this season in ALW. Wilkinson has the luxury of playing alongside McNamara so has to be favourite. But Blake I though was excellent for an average Adelaide. She was lively throughout, won a penalty, scored a great goal, hit the post and assisted the final goal of the game. 4 kiwi's in action in that game, including 18 yr old Ruby Nathan, as a second half sub. Didn't see the Perth game, but great goal from Jale there.

2-1 it finishes - Thanks for the $60 Bitumens! Was a pretty decent game first up this season overall, good speed and energy about it. City will again be there or thereabouts, Western were just more clinical on the day.
