2-0 Sydney, they are looking ominous.

Sydney hold on for a 2-0 win. However the result might have cost them Nat Tobin for the season after she limped off with a possible ACL injury.

Is Milly Clegg injured?

Didn't even seem to be on the bench for the Sydney derby.

3 Kiwi girls in the goals this weekend. Jale. Wilkinson and Blake.
Be interesting to see who wins the kiwi golden boot this season in ALW.  Wilkinson has the luxury of playing alongside McNamara so has to be favourite. But Blake I though was excellent for an average Adelaide. She was lively throughout, won a penalty, scored a great goal, hit the post and assisted the final goal of the game. 4 kiwi's in action in that game, including 18 yr old Ruby Nathan, as a second half sub. Didn't see the Perth game, but great goal from Jale there.

I hope Kaltak and Kuol are gonna be OK. Love watching them play. Sucks to have injuries in the first game.

Neither Bulls nor Roar look that flash. Maybe our squad isnt so short on talent after all...
Would add that it looks hot and maybe that is effecting the quality of play towards the end of this game.

It already feels like he's going to have a standout season in terms of production for Macarthur.

Second assist in his first four games for them. He managed five in three seasons for us...

Tolgay Arslan is going to be a bloody handful for opponents this season. Class player.

Daniel Penha just got a telling off and no card for putting his hand around Aslan’s throat.

Did Pennington not get a straight red for the same thing last year?

Thought the same thing. Now he's gone and laced a lovely ball through to Lachy Wales for Tarneit to take the lead...

My man Arslan has just levelled it up though as I type this.

1-1
Quite a good watch this second half to be fair.

2-1 it finishes - Thanks for the $60 Bitumens! Was a pretty decent game first up this season overall, good speed and energy about it. City will again be there or thereabouts, Western were just more clinical on the day.

Deciding penalty looked a bit harsh, but them's the rules I guess. Botic seemingly doing his hammy in the celebration must surely fall under the term 'Peak A-League'...

Maybe we missed out on appointing Ross as the Nix Gaffer, he has made the Roar into a rather good team with very few imports.

Luci Trani made a difference at Melbourne City and now at the Roar. he was the brains behind Ricki's reign too. Taking all the training sessions.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
