Victory has had some great imports down the years. Miranda isn't one of them.

Popa is normally ruthless with his recruiting but he doesn't seem to be pushing Miranda out.

Which brings up the question of whether this season's Victory is actually any better than last season's. Because I've yet to see much of an improvement. They are certainly a shadow of previous MV sides.

Holy shark I'd be surprised if that still isn't goal of the season by season end.

Not to take away from its quality but if I was quibbling I'd have to say Vukovic looked a little leaden footed as the shot came in. Some of the more agile keepers in the league could well have got a paw to it.

Torres is an absolute bust, no idea how he was valued so highly as a youth product. 1-2

Alex King must be blind in both eyes.
He's a random decision generator.

Young with a cynical yellow. One of those ones that feels like it should really be a red but doesn't meet the criteria for one. 0-2

Lewis opens the scoring for Macarthur, 1-0

Valerie Germain credited with the goal. Just got a sneaky last touch to it.

4th assist in 12 games for Lewis at Macarthur though.

He managed 5 in 68 for us!

How good has Zach Clough been for Adelaide so far this season?
4 goals
3 assists

His second goal tonight puts the reds up 3-2.

WU already 2-0 down to a couple of setpiece headers and their defence are like headless chickens. Could be 4 or 5-0 if Mariners had taken their chances.

Got form: sacked when he was at Heart and jumped before he was pushed from Roar. This is a genuinely terrible performance from WU and may well see the axe descend on Aloisi yet again.

VAR reviews galore in Perth. A rescinded red card and penalties at both ends. Perth miss theirs, City score theirs to take a 1-0 lead.

Lopane backpasses straight to Taggert who walks it round Young to make it 1-1.
A League defending is always good for a giggle.
