Hope he hangs on to round 5, we don't want a new coach bounce.

Also feel for him, he was hard done by at the Nix.

Was he? I can't really remember what happened there, but the Welnix treating someone harshly doesnt seem to be their style.

They chose Kalezic over the Vidosii when Rado was the assistant. In hindsight, a terrible move. At the time it didn't seem great either.

ohhhh that's right, and he took his son wth him when he left right?
technically I'd say the Welnix and Vidosic could feel hard done by with thag transaction.

Yeah, Rado and Darije had a falling out and the club chose to back Darije. It also meant we lost Dario with Rado, which was as big a loss on the pitch as Rado was off it.

They ended up firing Darije a couple of months after Rado quit.

Pretty turbulent time in the clubs history with all the license problems at the time as well. There was something where Darije told Krishna that he should play rugby not football, then Krishna asked to leave to move to Colorado with Hudson, Darije said yes but didn't have the authority to do so and the club demanded a transfer fee. At the time Krishna wasn't playing because he was injured, but rumors were that the injury was either Krishna refusing to play and forcing a transfer, or as a result of the fallout with Darije.

Messy.

The story the club put about Darije and Rado being long time friends & always wanting to coach together was a huge load of malarkey.

I recall they had the same agent or something? Could have been the club was misled by an agent talking up a relationship that didn't exist.

Iirc, Shane Smeltz's agent submitted DK's name when Ernie was appointed. The club then went back to looking at DK post Ernie & wanted someone that knew the local game to assist him & found Rado. Not sure if Smeltz's agent was still alive at that stage.

The fall out cost us Dario in the form of his life as well, so annoying.

A 0 - 0 draw would be good.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Suspended for next week! Geria already out tonight and Adama Traore has gone off injured. AAMI Park curse getting broken?

Penha's goal chalked off, the ball was miles out. Still 0-0 in WUN v NEW. Not a great game so far.

Sail still on the bench for Perth, seems like he did us a favour by leaving givng his form slump from the end of last season and the start of this one.

Yeah, defenitely towards the back end of last season I didn’t fully trust him in our goal, and still wouldn’t now. Still a good keeper but has seemed uncertain about himself for a little while now
