Del Piero didn't get any points either. C'mon Marco!

Who got the points from the Roar/Victory game?

None for Marco. Can't recall which Roar player got the 3, Archie got 2, and another Victory player got 1.

Theo got 3. Think it was Broxam for the one?

Quite possibly. Thought it was weird allocation, only saw the last 30 mins but there was only 1 team in the game and it wasn't the Victory.

I was surprised that Broich wasn't in there.

Unfortunately Marco did not have a good game. Agree about Broich, he was 'magic'

can safely say Lia and Lochhead would not have go any points tonight.  So who did?

Hersi got 3. That's all I can work out from the fantasy A-League site.

For falling over every time one of our players got near to him.

Points after round 25:

26 points - Alessandro Del Piero

22 points - Marco Rojas, Youssouf Hersi

19 points - Michael McGlinchey

18 points - Richard Garcia, Dario Vidosic

ADP has the title sewn up. Rojas & McGlinchey are away with the AWs and Hersi is suspended.

So many games where Rojas was just not given any points after clearly being the best player on the pitch

Part of the WSW wankfest by the Fox Sports commentators.

And Ifill has more points than Brockie  (12 and 10 respectively).

He's been smoking :P

Seriously NO idea how ADP has won this, joke award.

When you have Robbie Slater as one of the people helping to select the award, you know that it is never going to end well.

Fact.  The award was decided before the season started.  Points allocated on media hype, not performance.

JV for someone who professes to know a bit about football, I think your comment gives you little credit.

I actually think there are better players in that team than Hersi. Ok he is not exactly horseshit but there is no way he has been that influential

I have watched every game WSW have played and he has been pretty influential in most of them. Of course he has had some poor games and against us was one of them.Would I have him in my team-- for sure.

It's funny how we all don't want ADP to win. I guess it will be good for the league profile (story about ADP being A league MVP more likely to be picked up by overseas media than some random kiwi kid) but it does seem wrong. In many ways ADP has been exactly like Brockie, mopeing around until the odd moment where he pulls out a piece of genius. Total class for those moments, but not what I'd consider an MVP such as Broich was for Roar last year. Not sure who that would be though... I wouldn't put Marco or Hersi in that category either. Ono? McGlinchey?
