Wouldn't get too far ahead of the game here. The younger lads will end up as squad players once the season rolls around with the remaining four imports set to form the spine of the team.
For sure. I think of the young guys signed from local football - Randall, Toomey & Gillioan are the most likely to feature in match day squads from the start of the season. The rest will need to be patient, and will feature mostly for their reserve team in the Northern League next winter.
Prior to Paulsen coming in, I would have also obviously said Joe Knowles.
Corica said back in May/June he hoped to have his visa players announced by August. So expect some news on that front soon.
No had a good friend who diced with our friendship by letting me know he was going to get a Paulsen Jersey instead of a Sakai one. About 7 minutes after I first found out Paulsen had gone to AFC.

By signing, Jonty Bidois, Joe Knowles, Jesse Randall, Luis Toomey, Liam Gillian, Ollie Middleton, Finn McKinlay, and Adama Coulibaly, their prior clubs will receive over $70,000 in FIFA training compensation. This goes back to the clubs as a reward for the hard work and diligence they have put into developing these local talents.

They are doing a good job at controlling the narrative. marketing 101, make sure everyone knows about all the "good" things you're doing, keep them focussed on this and they'll ignore everything else - ie the clearly snakey dealings to get Paulsen from Bournemouth
