So "27/12/2020" is printed on the inside of the collar, a reference to @mfcbulls first ever @aleaguemen's game.

Which is a nice touch, *except* for the fact that that game was postponed by 3 days and was actually played on 30/12/2020.

I'd be very unhappy with that strip if I was their sponsor. You can't even see their name properly against that busy background. Needs a big black box like the old Sony Nix strips.

Do we know if they have completed their squad for the season already? Or were they still looking for more signings before the start of the season?

I believe they have, so this will only affect them in the next window and if they still haven't paid Yorke by then.

I'm an optimistic pessimist.

More money likely on offer in Japan, and yeah at age 34 will enjoy the less physical nature there. He's a grumpy hot head, so wouldn't read too much into his dig at the refereeing standards.

Said this on reddit figured I'd say it here, I give Macarthur 3 more season max and for a number of reasons

1) Despite having what is basically a free stadium the club has still lost an insane amount of money (north of $30m I believe) so the clearly aren't financially viable.
2) They've failed to engage their community. In all fairness the Macarthur region wasn't very big anyway but still, it's clear the community doesn't really care.
3) Endless controversies that put them in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The only good news I ever hear from them is when they win a trophy.

So yeah I think'll fold soon. Even if Canberra can get over the line it'll just be to replace Macathur, meaning we'll still be stuck with bye's.

If that happens (can see it but hopefully not) that will be four defunct clubs, not a great look when the league has only had 16 sides. That represents a 25% failure rate, not good in anybody's books.

I'd like a league with sides from CHC, Gold Coast, Canberra, Tassie and North Queensland plus 2 more (ideally 1 from the Pacific and 1 from Singapore).

20 should be the target and we need this ill thought-out side to help us get there.
