You do know EG talks more bollox than Hard News right?
I read EG's posts with a great deal of interest, just as I do yours. Love the passion in both, and the odd bollox

So Hep your whole point here is that he is playing well at the moment, he used to play for us, if we had offered him more then there's a chance he might still be playing for us?
Don't you think that is open to questioning?
It's kind of like saying Rooney would still be playing for Everton if they hadn't been so tight.

My point Feverish is that he was an opportunity lost through the way we approached it. If we had valued him enough to offer him more initially, then yes he could have been playing for us last year. And I agree that is hypothetical and open to question.
I dont have the inside running on how it all worked out, but I dont think they were the right tactics and Ricki must have been a big part of that. There, I have lumped others in the mix now :)
Probably a bit of my Ricki angst coming out. I admire a lot of what Ricki does, he gets results out of an average / good team, but I get a bit frustrated with the defensive nature of some of his moves as well (I label offering the same youth rate to Rojas as defensive)
I hope he can get the most out of the attackers he has brought this season, Brockie, Steinie, Fenton, Totori, Ifill, I dont think we have been as strong up front as that.
So you know for a fact that the sole reason he left the club was money?

I dont recall saying that.
Training facilities is a big factor also

Training facilities is a big factor also
so RIcki should have built better training grounds
(there is nothing special about Melbs one by the way)

Yes definitely. And put a roof over the stadium, like at Etihad
And make the stadium a rectangle. Like AAMI.
