Newcastle Jets - Better than C-Diddy would hope.

Had forgotten about this, O'Donovan to appeal his 10 game ban.

JETS striker Roy O’Donovan will on Tuesday night throw himself at the mercy of an independent appeal committee which could in turn increase his ban beyond 10 matches.

The Irishman will head to Football Federation Australia’s offices in Darlinghurst with barrister Simon Philips as his legal representative for the 5.30pm hearing.

No change, still banned for 10 matches.

"Newcastle - Better than C-Diddy would hope."

Can I just clarify something please.

Are you suggesting the City of Newcastle is better than I would hope or just the sharkebag laden, dirty fudgeing scummy cod munching football team? Because I still thing the City is beautiful despite the massive stain that is the Jest

Just heard via the A-League Memes Facebook page that John Koutroumbis has been diagnosed with stage one thyroid cancer. What an awful thing to happen to such a young bloke

Why do we play 4 awy games boohoo, same reason the nix will have to play loads of away games come then end of the season. Scheduling for a league that is maybe the 4th most important sport in the country is tough. Finding stadiums that are available and not clashing with whatever is going is a logistical nightmare and the FFA are pretty bad at it anyway.

Just in case we didn't know where they were from.

Ouch, $3000 fine for Ernie for his "the VAR was having a cup of tea" complaint after the Jets v Perth. Seems kind of harsh given that others, including Rudan, have escaped sanction for more inflammatory comments about officiating this season.

So if the Jets owner leaves which seems to be the case from Rumer's and the League becomes independent, Who bails out the Jets?? The Nix and the rest of the clubs? Or they fold the Jets and bring in another club ala Sth Sydney or Auckland.

Pretty tough in him, when the Jets had money he took them to the final. He doesn't have the money for more than last.

Wonder when Ridenton's contact is up, not that it's want him back but you'd think without Ernie they wouldn't renew him as a foreigner.

Think Glen Moss will stick around under such circumstances? Not that we'd have room for him (sadly)

Ridenton  earned his title as scapegoat when he was with us and Ernie was foolish enought to take him on.

One question - which current Nix player sent Ernie the sword?

They are one of the few teams with a visa spot available however they have no money, Trumps trade war with China has really hurt the Jets owner.
