Cryptic response from Rob Stanton amid speculation over his Newcastle Jets future.

A report via the Newcastle Herald emerged recently suggesting the Jets head coach could depart at the end of the season.

M'Mombwa (Tanzania) was the only visa player in their squad last night in the win over Melb City. And really he's Aussie raised, coming to Oztraylia as a youngster from Africa.

But yeah fair play to Newcastle (9th) and their long suffering fans. I hope they make finals. 6 pts adrift of WSW (6th) currently.
Pity that NZ eligible Ben Gibson (4 goals this season) hasn't played much lately. But we do also have Lachlan Bayliss & Dane Ingham there.

In the engine room, Lachlan Bayliss has been so influential he’s been tipped to be in contention for a senior international debut for New Zealand and Callum Timmins has been ever-present.
Sounds like Mizunuma's (didn't play last night) arrival in January, has been a big part of the Jets revival. Begs the question why a 35 yr old J League player coming in halfway through an ALM season can be an instant success.
Whilst the Nix have their 2 Japanese players who had at least some sort pre season in Welly, now languish on the bench!! Black mark against either Chiefy's coaching or recruiting.

The guys we signed, I don't think have fitted into the roles Chief had intended for them as much as he hoped.

Rallis adds that Stanton "didn't ask for any extra resources as far as budget."https://t.co/T9vkS3182K
The host of the show—"Chubba"—reported in a separate video last Wednesday that Ruben Zadkovich, after being interviewed for the Newcastle job, offered the club a $300,000 sponsorship for his father-in-law’s construction business if he was appointed. https://t.co/3rEPejTRtU pic.twitter.com/v3wrcfaE8T

Stanton out, Milligan in.
Really harsh on Stanton tbh.
Fair bit of context given in the past few days/weeks in the Newcastle Herald if you have access Simon?

RS has asked for more staffing (understandable), but also his own agent manages no less than 10 players on the Jets roster and is publicly threatening that players will leave.
Rallis being Rallis didn't help the whole situation it seems.
