After a trial overseas, Zac Duncan signs for a NPL side ... surely he showed enough in his appearances at the end of the Roar's season to not have to play NPL during the off season to attract interest?

Kosta under the cap, that would be a good signing but as a marquee that is rather questionable.

Interesting he did so well but didn't manage to pick up an A league gig

I have no idea wtf is happening at Brisbane, they cleared out their squad and now their title winning NYL team are looking for gigs elsewhere.

Afaik they have 9 on contract for next season, D'Agostino, Hingert, DIngham, Powell, Reardon, Young, O'Toole, Wenzell-Halls & Mauk. The Covert Agent was reporting that Daggers has been told to look elsewhere as well.

Didn't they appoint Fowler as Head coach? He's probably clearing out the team to rebuild. Shame they're not tapping into what is clearly a very good youth team

Clarets midfielder Aidan O'Neill is in line to link up with Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler in his home city.

The 20-year-old was born and raised in Brisbane, and, after completing a season-long loan back in his native Australia with A-League club Central Coast Mariners, is set to return down under with Brisbane Roar for another loan stint.

Sounds like it might be a midfielder joining WSW.

A good sauce on WSW's forums says they are in talks with a striker from the Championship.
