Think they've only announced departures and not new signings.

I thought that the other day. What could be the reason why it's not been announced!? Seems odd. I still hold a glimmer of hope that it's not in the a-league.

New Jets coach Arthur Papas was delighted with the arrival of the New Zealand international.

"Dane has amassed considerable experience at a relatively young age and will join the squad at the completion of his Olympic commitments with even further layers to his game," Papas said.

"As mentioned, his versatility is an asset and this versatility highlights Dane’s level of insight and athletic profile amongst many qualities, so we are excited at the prospect of working with Dane."

A month ago, all the A League coaching jobs looked stable. Since then a little merry go round.

Yokohama Marinos is the J League club Ange Pot has coached with great success last few seasons, before heading off to Celtic. Champions in 2019, which I understand was bit of a cinderella story. That's despite being 80% owned by Nissan, and the City Group having a minority share.

They are currently 2nd in the J League at about halfway point. I guess they have had an interim manager since Ange left. Also guessing he's had a hand in the club choosing Muscat as his successor, if true he's the new gaffer. He'll be under pressure from the word go no doubt, though different sort than his time at S-T. Wonder if he's eventually bring over any A League players, if he keeps the job long enough.

Also interesting that Luciano Trani, who was Muscat's assistant at S-T, and basically organised for Cacace to move to Belgium, is now back at the VUC. No idea when Trani left S-T, but I'm sure Libby will miss him - sounded like a bit of a father figure for him.

Guess things are not going great if his agents are offering him to an A-League club. Dunno this sauce, so don't take it as more than a fun lil rumor atm.

If he goes to Melbourne, you can imagine the headline  - "Bony M play a Victory Gig".
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Saw some talk that Pappas is doing the Robinson and signing players that are represented by his agent.

Well Papas is represented by Tony Rallis and so are Cam Devlin, Dane Ingham, Matthew Jurman & Mohamed Al-Taay but that is surely just co-incidence ....
