Honestly thought he would end up at Sydney cuz of Uffie. He is a Melbourne boy tho.

Wasn’t he rumoured to be going there after us? Or even during his time with us?

Piscopo has talent, but his body is too brittle and his output isn't enough to warrant the risk.

I also don't think he would suit Cheifs set up - he's not much of a defender and in our set up, everyone has to put in a shift.

Agree with MetalLegNZ. In fact, for all the aura around Piscopo's skills and talent, I rate Ben Old higher (except that Ben is younger and has not had enough finetuning of his skills yet).  Piscopo would not be a like for like for Old in my books; potentially perhaps more like Kraev but without Bozhidar's amazing defensive input.

Yeah Piscopo had a lot of promise but his development at nix was hindered by injury, Old has had his share of injuries but this season has shown what he is capable of. He is only gonna get better - Piscopo not so much.

The last thing that MVC needs is a forward who hasn't lived up to his potential, has injury issues, and doesn't score enough goals. Maybe they want to field a first eleven out of them?

10 goals in 92 games in the aleague does not make him a prolific striker.

Lucas Mauragis - Grab him and push Sutton into Midfield. Then we'd have two LB & 2 LM's.

Oh and referring to Vucovich - The only Goalkeeper to score a goal!! Whilst at the Nix. He'll be like Matt Simon in their coaching set up. It's working out quite nicely for them.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Mauragis is off to CCM, that is why the Jets dropped him at the end of the season. CCM are expecting Farrell to be heading overseas in the off season.

Mauragis was one of Newcastles few bright spots, so a big loss for them. Farrel possibly a little unlucky not to get an Aussie call up as well IMO.

I don't particularly like him as a player, but he is very effective in his role.

Bennie is quality, only just turned 18 and started 22 matches for the Glory. Didn't look out of place either. He didn't sign a senior deal with the Glory, so they are only gonna get some training compensation for him.

Danny Vukovich scored from a penalty, hasn't he?  If so then Izzo is also in that category, unless penalty shootouts to break a finals tie do not count.

Vuka scored a goal in normal time (from the penalty spot), so gets credited with a goal. Both Reddy and Izzo have converted penalties in a shootout, may be more that I can't remember atm.

[Edit: Maty Ryan converted a penalty in a shoot out also. He also missed one in a regular game]

Add Davilla and potentially Lewis to that list and it's quite a rebuild.

Millar and Baccus would have plenty of suitors, if it wasn't for the charges.

Wonder where DDS is off too, back to Perth?
