He was just using the A league as part of his training in the buildup to rio in 2016. He is reported to have thanked Adelaide for their valuable part in helping him realise his dream of winning gold for the Argentinian diving team at the next Olympics.

Anelka been offered to the Glory?

Sage also revealed that controversial French striker Nicolas Anelka has been touted to Glory but that “there was no interest” in making signings until a new coach is appointed.

“I was contacted last Thursday and replied that it’s up to our new coach what he wants to do – whether he wants a marquee or wants to continue on with our policy of developing youth players," he explained. “Anelka would be a great acquisition for any club in Australia, but whether he would fit into our structure under the new coach, I don’t know.

“But I think it would be hard to sway the board because we want to continue on with our youth policy – and we want a coach who will take us in that direction."

Solorzano to re-sign for 2 years? I don't see why. He scored goals that a traffic cone would have in his first season, was horrible at the Victory in his 2nd and barely played after being re-signed by the Roar despite Berisha been suspended a number of games.
