I very much doubt he will "flop majorly"

While past his best I think he will still be at the very least , at a good A League standard. Will he be worth $4m a year??? Dunno, but he will put Aussie bums on seats, at least for a while

Hope Cahill gets a season ending injury in the first game and then City will learn what we all know. At his age he is not worth that sort of money. Sure he scored goals and was once an excellent player but now it looks like he is on a downward slope looking for one big last pay day and his legacey will be that he was a failling star instead of going out a hero.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I think he might struggle to fit into City's system. He will score a few, probably headers from set pieces but I don't know if he will be that effective in open play. He's basically replacing Mooy but is a different kind of player. Commercially he will probably be a huge success. Even if City lose money on him they won't care because he builds their brand

I am undecided how he will go that is just the thoughts of one city fan. He thinks Cahill will be a great asset to the club just not for what he does on field. As far as pushing membership number, merch,  and the impact on their youth he is very confident.

Signs with Sydney FC ahead of his sons liver transplant

My respect level for MVC just went up a notch. They do have Lawrence Thomas but Vuka is a big loss for them.

All the best for the Vuković family

Looks like it might be off as WSW wont pay any transfer fee.

Kevin Muscat bitching about how it's hard to bring new players to the A-League

http://www.espnfc.com/australian-a-league/story/29...

It might be more newsworthy if Kevin Muscat didn't bitch about absolutely fudgeing everything.

That is an impressive starting line up andstill have 2 visa spots available, if they have the cap space.

Even if they don't have the cap space, seeing as this is the Glory we are talking about...

Whoops, forgot that Mills is a visa player so only 1 visa spot left.
