WSW sign former ACFC star Andreu Guerao Mayoral

Well, well, well... 4 early games in 2011 (alongside/behind Riera from memory).

"At the end of the drive the lawmen arrive...

I'll take my chance because luck is on my side or something...

Her name is Rio, she don't need to understand...

Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land..."

Meanwhile, the Wanderers have further bolstered their squad by signing attacking midfielder Mitch Nichols for the next two seasons. The 26-year-old spent six years with Brisbane Roar before moving to Melbourne Victory, then Cerezo Osaka in Japan.

Accepted under-the-table payments from the Glory to circumvent the celery cap? Turned down an offer from the Phoenix?

Does a NZ flag but probably is meaning he is off to Melbourne on loan?

Tando re-signs with City.

That u21 City keeper is probably coming out on pre-season, rather on loan. feel kinda daft not realising that.

Manchester City are playing in Australia this offseason. I'd guess he means that trip.

Football Central have learnt that Sydney’s new marquee will be a Slovakian international, following in the footsteps of the popular Karol Kisel who helped the club win the 2009/2010 Aleague Premiership.

The player is believed to be 31 year old, Filip Holosko. Holosko is a winger who can also play as a centre forward and has sixty five caps for Slovakia. The deal is said to be in the same region as what Janko was on.

I hear Andy Keogh is unlikely to be back @PerthGloryFC next year.
There's no date set for him to return and plenty of clubs are circling.

Is he the type of player we would look at? I didn't pay much attention to him if I am honest.

Not as tricky as Burns but works really hard up front and does makes fantastic runs off the ball plus is rather clinical with his chances. Would fit really well imo

Agreed. Would probably be more of a Griffiths replacement than a Burns one, in terms of what he would bring to the squad I'd say

Would be perfect for what we're after. Don't think he was particularly suited to the style Perth was playing anyway, and Ernie would get more out of him.

Seconded. We need someone who is taller that what we have and can finish, but not a target-man. My kingdom for 2008-era Smeltzy. Only problem is Keogh is complicit in the salary rort, even if they didn't tell him about it until after he had arrived in Perth.

TWG reported it was a 300k buy out clause but always take these reports with a grain of salt.

Victory appoint Rado Vidosic as assistant coach.

Talk about Rado landing on his feet!

I wonder if this is going to bite the Roar in the arse and the wheels well and truly fall off. I got the feeling that Rado's continuity on the coaching staff halted a decline at the club.
