If City gets all these signings, they will have a rather decent starting line up:

Sorensen

Franjic Kisborbo Hughes Zullo

Paartalu Mooy

Novillo Koren Fornaroli

Gameiro

The two Melbournes currently look like the best two teams for next season. The other teams haven't strengthened so far.

Victory appoint Rado Vidosic as assistant coach.

Talk about Rado landing on his feet!

I wonder if this is going to bite the Roar in the arse and the wheels well and truly fall off. I got the feeling that Rado's continuity on the coaching staff halted a decline at the club.

Yep, performance improved noticably when he returned.

Nah, only people that thought City were gonna be good were people who bought into the Villa hype. It was always gonna take a couple seasons to clear the books of the filler, their squad looks much more balanced now.

Not by me though. Melbourne were favourites at some betting agencies but that was more people going "OMG Villa" even though he was only going to be there for the first 10 games of the season.

People seem to be forgetting that they still have a crap coach.

I would be shocked if he wasn't sacked by the end of the season.

So a guy that has coached teams like FC Twente and assistant to van Basten coaching the Duch national is crap.  Wow.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

His stints in the A-League have been mediocre, his stint in Mexico was short lived for a reason.

The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers have today appointed experienced coach Andrés Carrasco to Tony Popovic’s coaching staff.

“Andrés has a fantastic pedigree and has a proven track record in the development of players that was nurtured during his 15 years with the FC Barcelona Academy,” said Tsatsimas.

Yes, he has been quite crap in the A-League. I don't care what he's done prior, all I know is what I've seen. None of his teams have had a real identity or confidence.

A few years until bloody SuperSport pinch him in South Africa or he moves to an Asian side. Like the majority of transferred players in this league.

I hear Andy Keogh is unlikely to be back @PerthGloryFC next year.
There's no date set for him to return and plenty of clubs are circling.

A bit north of $1m then

1.3m is the record. There has been people spouting off saying Bozanic is gonna sign for Adelaide, I've dismissed the idea until this happened. Not sure why he would run down his Swiss contract in order to return to the A-League tho

Football Central have learnt that Sydney’s new marquee will be a Slovakian international, following in the footsteps of the popular Karol Kisel who helped the club win the 2009/2010 Aleague Premiership.

The player is believed to be 31 year old, Filip Holosko. Holosko is a winger who can also play as a centre forward and has sixty five caps for Slovakia. The deal is said to be in the same region as what Janko was on.

FORMER fan favourite Labinot Haliti is poised to return to the Newcastle Jets and will be joined by Western Sydney teammate Mateo Poljak.

Haliti and Poljak have a season to run at Wanderers but the Asian Champions are understood to be willing to release the pair.

Both players were in Newcastle for a medical late Tuesday and are expected to sign two-year contracts once their departure from Western Sydney has been finalised.

Their recruitment is likely to be followed by that of Adelaide United utility Cameron Watson, taking the Jets squad to 19, including trainee Brandon Lundy.

When these 2 guys leave, they will mean WSW only have 5 of their ACL starting eleven left and 7 from the squad left on their books. Massive player turnover in such a short time.
