Paartalu to Korea, paving the way for Brattan to come back on loan from City?

Reports that Paartalu has his Korean move but City might use Koren's visa spot to replace him

What a joke, you would say the FFA should fix it but they are running the club that just gave away a player for free.

Midfielder, I heard Hersi had visa problems?

Billy Celeski has signed for a J-League team, kinda had assumed he retired after the Jets cut him last season.

Surely they are over the squad limits?

They have 20 people on senior deals, Fitzgerald is an injury replacement and Melling is on a NYL deal.

20 man squad, minus 2 marquees (Mooy & assuming an accounting marquee to replace Koren) and 2 players on homegrown allowances (Dekker & Garuccio), so they are spreading their cap over 16 players.

Brown, Trifiro, Retre, Bouzanis & Clisby will be rather cheap, so the bulk of their cap will be spent over 10-11 players.

Caceres on a cheapie loan from City & Fitzgerald is an injury replacement.

Could they have moved someone onto Koren's marquee spot as well?

Doesn't the amount that the parent club pays the player now come out of the cap though?

Honestly with all those cap exemptions there may as well be no salary cap.

Said that when the new changes came in.

I think it would be better.

Yep but Caceres isn't gonna be on big money, and its pro rata, so they are only hit with for 6 months wages for the cap.

hang on. 4 months ago they couldn't pay their players and now they're signing Tommy Oar from the English championship? Right.

The Bakry group had cash flow issues but sold some assets and refinanced some debt just before the season started. Wages at the roar are just a drop in the pan for them.
