Hope this doesn't mean CC goes past us. Faty and Tavares good players. Tavares kept Roly quiet with some tight marking IIRC.

the new salary cap trick seems to be to cut your salary to nothing for a while then use the savings to gain an advantage in the next season. Since I think the salary cap is aggregated over a number of periods rather than season by season?

Seems like an exploitable cop out, and once again that the league would be better off if it simply scrapped the cap.

Good question. Sydney had the 4th best defence this season, so spending a ton on defenders seems a tad redundant. So im guessing maybe McGowan is gonna stay with Adelaide, so they rubbed a bit more salt in CCM's wounds and secured Wilkinson ahead of them.

Arnold would have swayed things.

If SFC also sign McGowan, Jurman an option? Anderson has had a season to forget.

Jurman would probably play left back, they have been struggling for a replacement for Gersbach. Maybe they might look at Danaskos again.

Did they have a look at Danaskos prior to him signing with us?

Both Danaskos and Gersbach trialed for Sydney in 14/15, they picked Gersbach over him.

Clut wouldve been good pick up for us - reg impact off bench and would push for a start and prob get it. Will be a big hit for jets imo

So big clean out at city, although I don't think their problems relate to assistant coaches and teenage strikers...

adding marquee spots on a whim just because a certain team wants one is the worst. The way they're going they genuinely may as well just scrap the cap.

If City Group really wants their u20 players to get some game time, why not just ask if the FFA if they can send 1 player to every club outside the cap ...
