Kitto and Marino to Adelaide

Both obvs signings for the future, both showed promise last season. Unsurprised about Marino.

Kinda strange seeing Kitto go back to Adelaide because they released him previously. Thought he would get another contract after his Jets stint

Marino was highly rated in City NYL set up but never really got a chance.

I would think it would be some/most of Anderson, Hoole, Simon, Naumoff, Stambolziev, Woodcock

And all the uncontracted players are goneski

And Bridge moves one step closer to the exit door

I always thought that Naumoff showed a bit of promise, he seems to have a bit of x-factor about him and he could develop into a handy player. Having said that, he wouldn't suit the Nix as he plays in a position we are well covered in and one of his strengths seems to be long-range shooting which Ernie doesn't like to encourage.

I guess it shows that Arnie really is going to change direction away from developing players and looking for players that are ready now. That seems to be wasting one of Arnie's strengths as a coach, but it does bring him closer to Sydney's usual way of operating.

Victory release players we knew about as well as Jesse Makarounas, Dylan Murnane and Giancarlo Galifuoco

Surprised about Giancarlo Gallifuoco tbh, he didnt look bad in his few chances. Might have to head to CCM or the Jets for game time.

Perth Glory have signed Young Socceroo and local goalkeeper Nick Feely for next season.

After a three-year absence to complete an engineering degree, Feely made a dramatic return in his only game last year when he saved a penalty in the FFA Cup round of 16.

The son of Chelsea, Bournemouth and Sheffield Wednesday striker Peter Feely played for Subiaco and Cockburn before joining Celtic, where he won the Scottish Youth Cup and under-19 premiership.

He said he had been given a second chance at a soccer career.

“Three years out of the game and possibly this would be the only club that would give me a second chance,” Feely said.

“I know a lot of the staff and the players here, I picked up the phone and called Kenny (Lowe) and asked ‘can I come down and train?’

“One thing led to another, I might not have got that opportunity at another club. I’ve got good relationships at the club, hopefully they’re long relationships and I’m looking forward to having a good time here.”

Feely is one of 12 WA-born or raised players at Glory.
