Destroying the game!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Roly's goal was doomed from the moment Beath trotted over to the TV to check it. The incident off the ball was so trivial that it should have been dismissed instantly. Honestly, these guys are ruining the A League. They are just so incompetent.

But that's not new- we've had shoe salesmen and Sunday leaguers reffing Shinji Ono and Del Piero. No point investing every where but there

Beath has explained that it was given for the offside.

Given the player in an offside position clearly affected play by impending the defender, even if not a foul, it's maybe a correct decision.

Surely that is the very definition of offside, interfering with opponent?

Also Athiu is no Berisha. In fact he's barely A League level at this stage.

Athiu looks good and dangerous, flicked a good ball on for header before for Kosta who should've done better. It's Kosta that has been a bit off in the box so far in this match.

Not saying he's terrible. He does chase hard and harries well but his first touch is often heavy in critical situations and he hasn't remotely threatened to score in one and half games now. For a glamour club you'd expect to see a proven, probably import, striker in place and not a young tyro being bedded in to the A League.

Cracker, game on indeed.

Stink finishing by Kosta again. Is playing ok until the final touches. Up front with Ingham now.

So question..... Honda picks up a yellow card while a VAR review is potentially going on. If a pen is awarded, I assume the yellow still stands but if Perth had have gone the length and scored, the goal wouldn't?

Roux with a header from a corner, 2-2!! Wow

Poor old Storm! Scores an equaliser and does a celebration slide but everyone else has taken off back to halfway!

Jeez what was Brown doing leaving Chianese like that? Very sloppy defending to add to a night of sloppy defending from MV.

Good game. The good old A-League loves to serve up a bit of drama.

That was a good watch. Perth look solid.

Reddy actually had a decent game.

Anyone know if Wanderers coach Markus Babel will be suspended following his red card?

He will see at least one game ban, no doubt about it so won't be on the sideline against us this week

I'm positive things will go wrong.

Vuc crowd chant in about the second minute (to this tune):

Fudge the VAR

Fudge the VAR

Fudge the VAR, fudge the VAR

Fudge the VAR

If all five games next week started with this, the message would get through.

Anyway, five minutes later, there's a VAR review of a Perth goal, and Vuc fans go VAR! VAR! VAR!

Of the Kiwi's Playing for other teams.

Though Storm Roux played really well. Linking great with Honda.

Barbarosous Lively and looked dangerous

Riddenton. Poor for the jets. Lots of energy but low on accuracy

McGlincey. Looks off the pace. Past his best.

CCM look like a much better team this outing. I guess well start to see teams find form soon and others get tested on their depth. Coaches seem cautious and more defence minded perhaps - no Ange and no Broich these days?
