Adelaide D just fell asleep on that one. Tidy finish though.

Must say it's good to see Marco back in the A-league, even if it has to be for MV.

I thought he would have a break out year after having a full pre-season as a professional but he has regressed if anything

Oooft, Nabbout wins it late. 2-1

And good for the Nix, thank you Nabbout!

Really is a gem of a black eye too.

That's Nabbout all over: misses the easy ones, scores with absolute belters.

Farkin brilliant! One of the stranger side effects of a great Phoenix season is cheering for a Victory team.

Like a chocoholic but for booze

Both Sydney and Perth looked very ordinary this weekend. Mini slump? or are other teams picking up there game?

Finals football is going to be close fought. Who ever can get momentum going between now and then will do well.

So important for the Nix chances, to get a home playoff. We have to be at least aiming for top 4 now. If not top 2.

Both have been pretty average since the New Year, they have just had the quality to find ways to win ugly.

Didn't see the Sydney game. Perth did ordinary, but Newcastle seem to be surging, we go there soon, will be difficult.

Stensness with a poor turnover in midfield and it leads to a Burgess goal, 2-1

Horrible defending from Kim too. For me he is yet another in a long line of CCM import failures.

But well done Max.

Burgess with a double!  3-1

...and without wanting to hammer a point how poor was Kim in the lead up to that second? Was turned with ease and barely made an effort to recover.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Geez, one for the neutrals here! Can only hope for a red card or two to top things off!

Another mad game! WTF is going on with the A League atm. Teams have forgotten how to mark and midfields seem to have gone missing in action.

Game Week 21 last season

CCM 2 - 8 Wellington Phoenix

Game Week 21 this season and it's heading the same way...

Poor Mariners, though, pretty woeful stuff from them. Really hope they get up in the 2nd half though, would pretty much complete a perfect set of results for us so far this round. Hoping for City and Roar to draw later on too!

Dura or Clisby makes it 5-2

That would be Dura's strangest goal since his groin goal some years back.

Dura with a CBs finish

Picked a draw for this one because WU were so lame vs us (not to take away anything from us). Temporarily forgot that Mariners crapness can always outweigh all other factors.

Berisha with a tap in, 6-2
