I was under the impression that heading the ball out of the hand of the keeper carrying it with only one hand was legal?

Good game. Could be a turning point for Adelaide that. Their best game by far this season.

Right.  I looked up to see him coming back on.  Never saw the ball be played so just assumed he had chased it through.  Carry on.

I actually thought that Sydney didn't play too badly either - passed it around well. Had more chances than Adelaide. Some great last ditch defending, though.

A final quick study in contrasts: Bridge/Brosque v  Leckie who was hacked down 3 or 4 times, one a huge bobsled that Delovski strangely missed, yet not once did he writhe around in simulated agony or mouth off at the ref in a flurry of swearing and arm waving. And he played well too.
