Well another loss in what has turned into a death spiral, this seems like my Trophy Manager team is similar to my Football Manager teams. Great start to the season in the top 4, then January comes around and the team doesn't want to play anymore, and to top it off my goalie got injured last night...Oh dear...
Stoked! 3-1 win over ANE2 shifts me up to 6th with 50 points (only 3 points ahead of 9th).
My sponsor goals were:
3 wins in the Cup - achieved
Finish in the top half - Need a win or draw to ensure I finish above 9th
Score at least 60 - currently scored 56
Concede at most 50 - currently sitting on 49!
If The Falcons can get a 4-1 or better result against Pavlova Utd it'll tick off all of the sponsor goals and possibly get me into the playoffs, one of my top players earned a red card and plenty of others on yellows.

I've met most of my goals for this season, just need to stay in the top 3 and not conceed any more than 40 goals and I've got all of them. should be ok for some decent coin come end of season.

Congrats! Good to have a Fever representative in the Premier League again next season. As for my team, held on for a 0-0 draw after having 10 men for 70 minutes, secures all my sponsor goals so good platform to push for promotion next season.

Need to win or at least draw my last game and hope other results go in my favour to get through. I am against the bottom place team though, so might be a chance. In saying that, even if I do get through to teh play-offs, I'll probably lose to the Div 2 team I play - which might not be a bad thing given that I'm about to put some of my more experienced players on the market.

After bing in the relegation zone earlier in the season The Trains came storming home to finish 7th with a 2 - 0 win against Potential Fools, ahead of the Falcons on goal difference after they were held 0 - 0 at home to Pavlova on closing day.

I don't think it counts for season goals... I think you finished 4th. but then when they do promotion, relegation and playoffs selection THEN they apply the inactive penalties, and if someone forfeits their spot due to inactive, they go to the next highest etc.

Yeah an unbelievable collapse after a great start, early on we had the best defense in the league (Less than a goal per game), then we lost a game 6-0 and after that we struggled to contain anyone. The Fafe was completely lost by the end.
0-0 draw sits me in 8th, 1 position better than my minimum for sponsorship goals.
upgraded the stadium to 28,000 seats the day before and had my first completely sold out match! That should help fill the coffers, which is good as a handful of my players are retiring
28000, wow I'm still struggling to get mine to 16000. I'm hoping with my end of season funds to buy a new Kiwi forward that I spotted mid season and upgrade the seating to 20k

An apt end to the season for me, without my star players I ended with a 0-0 draw with 25% possession. Finish in 11th, onwards and upwards
