31, 994 fans came to watch Peow FC's first game of the season. The whole match was pretty even. Not a great start to the second half as my CB picked up a minor (1 match) injury. At the 64th minute Barnes managed to pounce onto a long ball and header it into the net. Great start to the season! I will have to push to get points against these more equally matched teams if I am to stay up.

Well we conceded a late goal with our reserve keeper on the pitch, but happy with a 2-1 in the first game of the season, and 18,977 people showed up as well.

After eight goals in his debut season Liam Dellar has started S33 with a bang, scoring twice in a comfortable 2-0 win over a solid side. Hopefully he can do what Seghers did last season, a 20 goal sophomore season would be really nice.

Nice work Niall, looking like a pretty solid start there.

1-1 start for me, my CB leading the way with a cracking header to start the goal scoring this season.

I just checked the League 1 Group 1 Team of the Round, and the goalkeeper is from my opponents, so I scored 2 goals on him, and STILL he was the best Keeper in the whole round. At the same time, none of my own players made the cut.

that seems a little odd, I guess it's only done by ratings though right?

Looks like it is by ratings, and we did have enough shots it should've been more than 2 goals. Makes me feel a bit better if a Superkeeper in our first game kept it close :P

yeah the oppostions keeper in my game got into the team of the week as did one of my midfielders and my LB that scored the goal. I so wish there was some reward for being nominated - 1 weeks wages or somekind of monetary payout would be nice.

Well up against Waitara KV tonight, my team does look better, but at their place am worried about not being able to get the goal I need.

Looks like another inactive promoted team...Oh hurray!

And in the 23rd minute a beautiful through ball from Wilson puts Atkinson in space and he slots it home in the corner. GOAL! 1-0

That gives us 3 goals on the season from 3 scorers: Vicelich (AML), Leilei (ST) & Atkinson (DM)

Tough game for me against Archway Utd's B team, I've beaten them in the past but there are some crazy good young players there, a 3.5 star 17 year old for example, and a young 4 star keeper who is hard to get a goal past.

11 shots at halftime to 4 but still 0-0, hopefully I can nab some goals in the second half

1-0 lead for me at half time vs Bath Salts

1-0, three goals in two games for Dellar, very nice.

Nice work guys, we need to get some wins over the non-YF teams.

Noo...1-1 after 67mins

And 2-0 to a goal to my sub 4 star pot striker after Seghers went down injured, that wraps it up, two in two for me to start the year.

Well ended in a draw for us, I suppose good result away from home.

Two games, two losses. Combined for no goals scores scored and six against.  Could be a long season......

Ouch Rammtallica, that has got to hurt.

I am reasonably happy with 6th so far 1-1-0 with 3 GF, 2 GA, if our attack can get a little better then we should be able to compete for a playoff position.

I'm in 7th with 3 points so far after a 2-0 loss last night. Not too disappointed though as long as I manage to hold this table position.

6th at the moment, win and a draw to start. not too bad, I'm hoping to finish at least third again. I suspect I'm going to need my young guys to bloom strong!

And another Academy team today, as AD Fafe step it up against Real Auckland Academy. In the 4th minute our new "through balls" tactic looks to pay off as Dee plays it through to Leilei and he makes it 1-0 (His 2nd goal of the season)

Well pretty confused now, no clip shown and it is 1-1 now...

almost 13 years ago · edited almost 13 years ago · History

And the 53rd minute sees a second goal from Leilei...and Fafe lead 2-0.

Rather than keeping talk to myself...just 3 mins later we let them equalise...

I have a fever matchup against Sanchez A.F.C who are in 9th. I'm up 2-0, so looking good to stay top of the league.

Allegedly

Nice work Tegal, we're still battling along at 2-2, hoping to grab a late winner.

And in the 88th minute it looks like we have done it, Wilson gets tackled outside the box and converts it into the net 3-2.

Will take the victory, that now leaves us 2-1-0, scored 6, conceded 4 => Leilei leading with 3 goals. We should finish the round in 5th as well.

The Trains had their all time biggest win tonight, 7 - 0 over ANE2.

Soeren Kofoed scored 4, and Charlie Tree my uber youth academy pull got 2 (for the second game this season). to be the leading and second leading scorer in the division so far.

Relatively happy with that result. Puts us second after two wins and a 1 - 1 away draw (with last season's second team, The Grudge).

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Managed a 1-0 win today allowing me to hold my mid table position. The goal was scored by my defender who had just returned from injury.

Saw the Trains 7-0 victory, just wow. Glad that the difference in the table from 2nd to 5th is only Goal Difference to this point now, but I think my team needs to improve to stay this high at the end of the season.

A 2-2 draw with the league leaders last night, pretty pleased with the result considering I was missing my all-time goalscorer, it was 0-0 after 54 minutes and then 2-2 after 61, four in seven minutes is pretty mad. Dellar stepped up again with his fourth in three games while Martinez scored yet another free-kick.

2-1 win keeps me on track.

A good 3-0 away at Ardrigh's place... now solid in 4th two points behind the two top teams... hoping the consistency of starters is beginning to pay off while I invest a little more in Aussie Wankabank Stadium - it needs it!

The bad news is that after letting in 17 goals in 3 games Linwood FC have their number 1 keeper back from Injury for their game against The Trains. The good news Charlie Tree continues his red hot form and blasts one past him in the first minute to take The Trains provisionally top of the table.

Now for commentator's curse to kick in...

Is indeed a huge game, they really seem to hold a Grudge, everytime we ran through the midfield we got chopped down, they took their chance though and lead 1-0 at halftime.
