Count the number of teams in your division, subtract 1 (for your own team) and multiply by 2 (home and away)

I think (off the top of my head) that makes 34 i.e. 18 - 1 = 17, x 2 = 34.

Trains win 0 - 2 at Sky Valley, with 2 goals to Man of the Match, Soren Kofoed (70, 88).

Big result! Trains 4th, 3 points clear of Sky Valley in 5th.

Guaranteed my League pos Sponsor goal of Top Half last night with a 0-0 draw.

Now 3 games, I need to score 2 goals to get past fifty ad concede less than 13?

Leilei is now my top scorer with 43 in 68 matches (Most Games [139] & assists [33] is our Captain Wilson)

Awesome 5-1 win over a solid team to put me into fifth, so close to a playoff spot. My defender  Bruce Rapp has 3 goals and two assists in his last two games, huge contribution, while Melddahl now has 27 goals this season.

Any other exciting promotion or relegation battles coming into the last week of the season for me to keep an eye on?

I'm either midtable or relegated with my teams. So will be living through some of you guys for the week.

Yes, The Trains and Sky Valley 3 points apart 4th and 5th (with the Fafe in 6th, but 7 points back from Sky Valley now). Los Halcone Locos one place above the relegation playoffs too...

I wanna be in your league, 59 points sees me equal with SV, but with 119 goals for and 44 against I'd have it.

Soren's got 4, and the Trains are 3rd as it stands (MC United are down 2 - 3 at home to ANE2!)

I have the slightest glimpse of the playoffs now after a 3-1 win over a team in front of me.

Now the playoff race is like this:

4th: 54 points (plays a team in 12th)

5th: Me on 52, playing the third-placed team

6th: 51 points (plays the team in dead last)

So, a 5% chance to progress, but I'll at least meet my top six sponsor goal.

No chance of a playoff for me with fourth sitting 4 points clear of me heading into the last round. Probably a good thing though as I'm certainly not ready for promotion yet but it will be my best season on record regardless.

My last game will see 5th play 6th with winner holding the 5th spot and no chance of dropping out of the top 6 for either. Assuming I don't concede 11 goals all sponsor goals will be met. I'll consider that season a win overall.

Finally getting goals up front so with a decent golaie in my sights for the off-season I'll hope to be a contender next time round.

Survived my first season.  Met all my goals. Hopefully push a little higher up the table next season.

Big playoff grudge match with Hamilton Tiger Cats tonight.

http://trophymanager.com/matches/70206364/

Luckily we are away, given our away form for the season reads:

Played 17, Won 13, Drew 2, Lost 2, Goals for 38, Goals Against 9, Points 41.

At least that's what I am telling myself...

Finished third. Again.

Should I buy another decent player (or two) and go for promotion or upgrade my stadium/facilities... I dunno.

With my other 2 clubs, I'm upgrading money making facilities. Figure it'll pay off.

Finished up 11th, in the playoff spots for relegation.

Can't see who I'm meant to be playing though?

Hope I can stay up in this league, need some cash to bring in a new striker for this season and a keeper by next.

An excellent 2-0 win over a team in third to end the year, but other results didn't go my way and I ended in fifth.

Standouts for the season were:

Lukas Muir with 7 goals and 10 assists for a 5.8 rating
Peter Melddahl with 30 goals (a new Whip record) and 6 assists for a 6.4 rating
 Paul Bagg - 10 goals and 10 assists for a 5.5 rating
Chuck Sanders, superb purchase, played 27 games for a 5.8 rating

0 - 0 at half time. Comon you Trains!

Won my playoff 1-0.

Do you still need to win 2 games to stay up, or did they scrap that playoff system?

Trains lost 2 - 0 at Hamilton Tiger Cats.

Hmmm, better than finishing 5th again though.

And that means former team Captain, Duncan Doran, foundation Train, and club record holder for the most appearances at 269 League and Cup games, and a club record 51 career assists as well along the way, has played his last game for Lokomotiv.

He will be missed, and is the first inductee into the Trains Hall of Fame.

Thankyou, number 6.

Promo playoff tonight... the opposition has one 3*, one 3.5* and the rest of their starting XI are 4*... I have one 4* and the rest 2.5-3.5*.

I'm not overly confident lol.

my 'b' squad must have aplayoff for relegation soon they finished 14th - unless there is no playoff and the leagues below them are full of inactives..

Haha quite impressed your B team didn't finish dead last. Mine always do!

lol, my 'b' team have a good foreign keeper 3* - he has saved their asses a lot! Average stars in the team is 2, all around 18-20years except keeper. Given my #1 keeper is only 21 I don't think I"ll be looking for one anytime soon

FFS starting the season $30m in the hole before sponsor money comes through is horrid, especially as I've missed most of my goals this season

Yep, Lokomotiv got into the playoffs for promotion, but the prospect of moving out of the Yellow Fever Rivals Division didn't appeal, so we tanked our playoff game and got to stay.

Haha pretty pleased when I saw that, my team is rubbish but should be fairly decent after this season, my keeper is 4.5 pot but only 2.5 stars atm so he'll struggle in the meantime, while my midfield and defence depth is woeful. Good attack though. I'll be happy if I scrape a few points with them this year.

In good first team news - Peter Melddahl, who has scored 48 goals in 50 games for the Whips, has not retired, and will play at least another two seasons for the team. Not bad for 62 million.

YF Rivals Division action starts tonight with:

The Trains away at Sky Valley;

The Fafe away to relegated Zavbro United;

Whips B host R.AKL Academy

and Los Halcones host the relegated Waterside Melchester.

1-1 to start the season, not bad.

I will struggle this season though, have a guy who is 3.5 stars as a regular starter for the first time since I cant even remember when, and no depth.

Tough times.

5-0 win to start the season, happy with it - but I'm not jumping the gun this time - it was too be fair the expected result.
