so I've missed on three quality young 4* keepers - only by about $10mill - have one left which closes at 8:45am tomorrow, hopefully he flies under the radar and I can nab him. The other option if I lose him is to grab this guy of BHB Bombers - 4* Kiwi CM. He'd replace my current 3.5* CM/OMC - he's getting a bit lose to 30 so almost time for him to move on.
BHB's guys are all very enticing but I'm thinking the prices are about to get out of control. I've got two guys I'm going to try very hard for on Monday, if I don't get them then I'm gonna have to look overseas or wait a season it seems.

Just overpaid for this guy: Paul Bagg. Scored 22 goals in my league last year, only 20, 4.5 star pot, so not the worst overpay ever.

Yeah I got sick of every Kiwi player going for 150 mill so grabbed this guy. Will see how he develops and make a decision, he could realistically be around for 10 seasons on the Whips, if not I reckon he could sell for three figures easily.
Got two more signings lined up tomorrow, both which will again be over-pays if I manage to get them, but it has to be done around these times. If so, I'll be back to having no money but will have a squad which can realistically compete for promotion and then relevance in Div 2.

One final overpay: Grabbed this guy for 60 mill: Chuck Sanders. Good all-round stats, only 21, still will improve, can sell later for a better price etc, plus he's a Kiwi so always want to pay more for them.
Might not start him straight away but definitely should shore up the defence.

I 3ended up putting 80m into stadium upgrades instead of buying players this season, going to aim for another midtable season, and then look to improve the team.
