Meh, it's only one game hardly worth getting rarked up over it.

Anyone else see when we're in Sydney they're both mid-week?

We better beat Sydney at least once this year.  I hate losing to those retards.

*Insert usual stuff about how they shouldn't be taking games out of Wellington here*

They won't listen anyway.

Why are midweek crowds always so much lower, is it just because of the family thing? Speaking for myself I like having something to look forward to midweek when I am working 9-5 in the city.

People get into that mentality of 5 days work/2 days leisure, there's no justifiable reason for it! ;-)

A lot of people working out of town during the week? Might be a bigger factor for Wellington than say Sydney, Melbourne etc. Last season, I had to jump through some hoops to get back to Wellington for a Wednesday. I wouldn't have thought it would effect crowds by that much, but when combined with school it probably has some significance? Dunno really, but it's the same for midweek games in England too.

I'm thinking of going over for the Melbourne games and possibly down for the Melbourne games at Rof in November as they are close together. Maybe I'll do the Chch game too. If I get a job down in Wellington later in the year I'll do all the home games, but that is not realistic from Thames. Part of me would have liked one in Auckland, although I do understand why people on here do not want a away home game up there!

The opening game at the RoF will be the last time I get to see the Nix before I move to Hawaii. *sniff*

Some people probably underestimate how many out of towners come down to Phoenix games as well so those people probably can't come down for midweek. I know I can't unless I took the day off. Its bad enough trying to get down for Friday night games.

Yeah, Wednesday nights are tricky when coming from Thames, but I'll see what I can do.

The midweek games will really be average for crowd figures.

Other than that i am happy with it all. Being selfish Bring on 5pm starts on Sunday so i can have a chance at making them.

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

Normally if I can't make a few games in a season, I'd still get a season ticket. This coming season I have some games that clash and I will most likely miss. Normally I'd get a season ticket anyway, as I did back home for my club - it's about showing that support after all to your club. The Nix don't generate that same feeling of ownership when they willingly cheat on me!

Talk about being unappreciative! Perhaps you should consider yourself lucky to have the Nix at all. If it wasn't for Terry S it wouldn't exist, and you can't blame him for recuping a bit more back by taking one game to Chch.

Hoping to do the Melbourne double. Would be awesome fun!! Forget that, mock exams.

Or else doing Gold Coast on the 11th. After exams.

And also go and see Kosta play for Brisbane on the 8th.

Trash. Taking an economic approach to keeping my season ticket is perfectly consistent with the Nix taking games away for money.

I would buy a season ticket even though I can't make a few games normally, but why should I if the club makes decisions I find fundamentally wrong.

No, it's a 'we've never had a club to support before so we're bloody grateful for what we get and don't complain about one game being moved' thing

We have them at home though.
Or were you going away?

Disappointing that we don't have a double this season.

I thought he meant, both away.
So spend a few days in Melbourne.

But we don't get that. Only they do. Bastards

Just programmed the fixtures into Google Calendar. Not sure about XML and HTML but pretty sure ICAL is fine for importing into Outlook etc. Anyway, here's the links, all times are local. Let me know if they don't work and I'll see what I can do.

Wow. They put computers in healthcare homes now? It's just that sort of logical reasoning skills we've come to really appreciate from our care in the community inmates. Two posts in three years isn't bad going. Well done.

Like I said when discussing with valeo, if only buying tickets for games I can get to rather than renewing my season ticket is considered unappreciative then fine - I'm unappreciative. Personally, I see it as managing my expenditure and relationship with the club economically. If I hadn't previously been a season ticket holder for the last three seasons, it wouldn't be a cause for comment.

Ill be interested to see if they get 19k again now the novelty factor is gone.

As ive said,i understand if they need to make up a bit of cash somewhere. They should have just come out and said that last year,or at least not said that it was out of their control, followed by conflicting comments in the media later.

At least theyre a bit more honest this year in telling us that it is of their choosing to take it away.

You think that they expected 19k out of Chch when they decided to play there? Westpac WAS being re-laid, right? I'm pretty sure it wasn't an elaborate lie.

ACDC concert was on the same night as that game. Perth is having to deal with what Central Coast and Wellington have had for the last few seasons - Our ground is out of action for 5-6 weeks due to relaying the surface in December.

What's happening next year with the Rugby World Cup in September and October? Playing home games in Australia? Or are you allowed to play games in Wellington during the WC, I wouldn't expect that other cities in NZ will be too worried about the Nux during the WC.

Only good thing about the draw is that there's no home game Labour weekend.

Not at all happy with 3pm Sunday game, getting there by 5pm is hard enough when you play a summer sport. Guess I wont get a season ticket.
