Round 21 game vs Adelaide has been moved from Sunday 2nd March to Thursday 27 February.

Do we know why?

Clipsal 500, assuming that's some car race, apparently somehow directly interferes with the match.

The fact that they have only just made/released this decision now is piss poor.

As well as that it also pisses me off that the FFA are fine with changing this fixture at the drop of a hat because of a completely separate sporting event but gave us bugger all love when it came to half our team leaving during international windows for our WC Qualifiers/friendlies.

Just did a bit of research, the Race dates have been know since at least November last year, so why they haven't made an announcement months ago is beyond me. Hope no one had organised to go to this game, you'd be mega pissed.

It's not actually that bad for us. We play at bluetongue on the 21st so will probably mean direct on to Adelaide rather than coming back and then going again later.

Yes, that was my thought too - stay over for the few extra days, recover a bit better after the CCM game, check out the smiggle shops and training facilities...

The away Adelaide match has been moved because it clashed with the V8 supercars event. Not sure about the others. Maybe the Phoenix have convinced the FFA to try a new time.

Makes sense. 3pm sunday is better for crowds.

Regardless of where the Nix end up at after round 27, I have to say that this has been the suckiest season for fixtures and supporting the team.

We've missed all three home & away games, the gaps between wgtn home games have sometimes been just like an off-season and the draw I think has partly contributed to us wallowing in 9th for much of the season to date.

Great season ticket prices and other associated member benefits. Everything else is rather naff.
