Good way to get me into the home & garden show. My Mrs will love it.

Hope the Nix play isn't agricultural then....good idea tho to maybe capture some more people who time their visit to the show and might then come to a later game.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

I can't believe I'm being charged $4 to watch a preseason game against an ASB Prem team. As a premium season member, I expected that the club would treat me with respect and give me things that weren't actually promised to me when I bought my season pass for no extra cost. I've been to every Phoenix game played in New Zealand for the past 3 seasons, which has cost me a fuckload of money in flights and accommodation, so I'm gobsmacked that the club has the nerve to ask me to pay $4 extra on top of everything else I spend.

How do you think the people attending the Home and Garden Show feel having to watch Canterbury United play?

Probably somewhere in the midfield since he came on to replace Rodriguez

75' Sub, Boyd comes on for Burns. The amount of substitutions has restricted any momentum being built up from either side. #COYN #FIREUP

I'm pleased with a clean sheet.  Goals still tough to come by.  As some predicted we've improved the squad overall but I worry we haven't replaced the goals we got from Carlos and Steyn

Yip. I haven't seen a lot of us this pre season but the lack of goals has to be an issue. Keeping that Sydney team scoreless is a fair effort though.

Where is Hard News and his "Not a Striker" formation when you need him?

Doesn't sound that positive, I've yet to read in any of the matches any real chances etc from burns. We probably need close to 10 goals from him

I think giving all available players some game time this close to the start of the season is more important than results. Its the only opportunity the coaching staff can get a good indication of where the squad is at and what may require tweeking prior to the season commencing.

Finding the net in pre season is one thing but i'd much rather our players were prepared to perform at their peak come 19th October.

I know that Perth Glory aren't exactly the best team in the competition, I would prefer our lads to be at their peak for 12th October...
