Yeah supposed to be one off, though they didn't appear to take details. A voucher was sent out two years ago, I can't remember what they did last year......

Would imagine that it would be when gates open for sales/entrance.  Isn't that an hour beforehand (6:30 pm)?

Yep 7 teams with 10k ... not 7 teams more than 10K ... appreciate your top level input about the 14% + increase in membership with 7 teams WITH 10K or more .... Impressed I is with your logic and depth of understanding of what this means in the growth of the league and how it helps the msm push ...

I still only see 6 teams with 10k. Roar, city, victory, Sydney, jets and Wanderers.

Or saying it another way, I can see 4 teams in the ten team league with less than 10,000 members, Adelaide, Perth, CCM and Nix.

Am potentially going to become a first time season ticket holder this season. Due to another Sunday evening commitment we've been unable to make the 5pm Sunday games so with the majority of home games being that time for the last couple of seasons we've just been getting tickets when we could go. But looks like Sunday night is becoming free this season so will buy 2 season tickets if so.

Without understanding it much and not wanting to read the whole thread, can anyone summarise what the membership gives you that the season ticket doesn't? Sounds a little odd that a season ticket holder won't be a "member."

Basically you get a Members Cap & access to a Facebook page. It is just a way for those who can afford more to give more money towards the club. Premium Club = Season Ticket + Club Membership.

I would think the usual:

  • lanyard and card holder
  • scarf
  • bumper sticker and fridge magnet
  • discount voucher
  • personalised welcome letter
  • complementary sense of entitlement

Anyone get the 20% discount voucher?

Dont recall seeing one. maybe you have to take along your season ticket when you want the discount

Has anyone tried getting the free game day ticket or 20% discount - how does this work?

Just to update my earlier graph with our games at Westpac so far at this season. We are up 4.6% from 2008/9 season.

Probably different data sources but if the average Hurricanes crowd is 10 k and 60-70 % of their ticket sales are on the day then that means that 30-40% are season members and corporate freebies, so that would put our 4k membership around the same or more.
