A few interesting names there, I assume that talks are well underway for the better names on that list but still:

Nick Ansell

Zac Anderson

Michael Zullo

Dylan MacGowan (Sydney-bound?)

and has there been any talk of what was happening with Devante Clut? Was there a whisper he may be NZ eligible?

Not eligible for NZ I don't think no

He would be a great player to sign

Be interested in McGowan for sure. Ansell will stay with Victory. Anderson is pants. Zullo meh

Yeah, that was my initial thought too. I wouldn't be suprised; simply because I don't really see how we can properly fit everyone in now. A-Rod, Riera, Roly and Finkler in the same team? Probably too many similar players.

If he does leave, we better not release him to go play at another A-League club..

Adam Howard, one of the guys who is involved with tracking Aussies overseas has made a list of people he thinks might be on the move during the off season. Some of these guys may head back to the A-League.

Impossible to say I think. He pulled Roly and A-Rod out of nowhere

#NoDefenders will become the new #NotAStriker

Still don't have the striker that the #NotAStriker brigade is harping on about, maybe its better to just have the blanket #YetAnotherMidfielder tag for every player.

If we do lose Roly it'll be a massive shame but we should at least get some transfer fee for him

Finkler scores for bliss

Forget about that Sarpong

Finkler scores another...

I'm not sure we need Finkler that much. However, if we were going to pick up a #10 I'm happy that it is Finkler. Talk of picking up another striker seems a little bit unnecessary to me though.

Competition. Good. Depth. Strong options off the bench. Potential for tactical changes. Succession plans.

Hope it's not Roly taking off. He's our new CB surely.

I think it was either a striker or AM, and we've got Finkler - so we'll be concentrating on getting defenders in now.

#NotAStriker is still applicable haha.

I am excited to see Krishna and Kosta in full flight and if they work well together, though. I feel like it gets back the balance that Burns provided. Kosta is good at taking players on, while Krishna is the outlet over the top because of his pace.

One interesting point to note for Finkler is that he could've got Australian citizenship by June/July. Could he do that first then move to NZ? :D

even though he's not a striker he's quite tall, so can he head a ball?

I thought it is 5yrs of permanent residency to become an Australian citizen, he only joined in 2012 - is that at all correct?

If that is the case, he could still wait until June/July anyway.

Not really. He's the one who swings it in, not really ever seen him head it in. Maybe a couple of times?

Talking about Gui becoming an Australian citizen, Blew. Not sure about the rules of getting citizenship then buggering off to NZ, though!

Someone just mentioned it on 442.

"loki

Months, not years. Will be eligible in late June or early July. A good migration agent would manage to get him citizenship even if he did end up going to the nix, assuming he wants it."

Did not want to troll back to mentioning of Krishna and Reira who both are sportsmen who can prove they represent New Zealand internationally in a sport. (No mention of National Team)

Good for Riera, maybe not so much for Krishna seeing as he can't represent us internationally

the Phoenix aren't representing NZ internationally though. They are a club side. The reason it wouldn't say national teams is because it covers individual sports as well as team sports

This is the big thing for me. Big change from previous seasons.

Lets hope Finkler fares better than Fred and Hernandez.

We'll always have New Zealand Football.

There aren't many things that you can rely upon them to do, but providing angst might just be one of those things!

great signing - Roly was the most fouled player as anything good we did was likely via him. Having 2 skilled creators will make opposition have to do more than mark/foul Roly - could really free him up

                                                       Riera

                           Kosta        Roly        Finkler    WeeMac

Striker !

So Riera to do 100% of the defensive work then eh?

No way you can leave Krishna out either.

I'd say

Defender (TBA)-Defender (TBA)-Defender (TBA)-Defender (TBA)

          Riera                        A-Rod

                        Roly

                        Gui

Kosta                                   Krishna
