Bloody hope not,we wont have any strikers left if that happens !

looks like a natural cb and was less than comfortable at rb. he was up against Connor pain who is okay. pain went round him at will. tratt never looked convincing going forward. going to be scary if he's playing Castro, Rojas, etc. a work in progress.
Parkhouse looked decent though. gets up and down well. positionally okay.
in fairness, was largely one sided after ccm went down a man. our midfield then dominated. ridenton and Alex looking very good.

As soon as they said he was a tall bugger...knew he would be like this. Perhaps he's being looked at as CB/FB cover and we will sign this Lowry fella too?

Pain is probably a mid-tier A-League winger; if he's ripping him apart, that's a little scary.

Haven't seem him play but from all accounts here we have managed to sign an Aussi who is a big tall fella for this right back role, maybe the same height as Boxall, but 1/4 of the ability as a  footballer?

Is that how it is looking?

I was almost side-on with goal, didn't look over the line.

Is Vinnie injured?

bwtcf said on Twitter a few weeks ago that Lia wasn't playing in Nelson, due to personal reasons. Maybe he had a wedding to attend?

Nah, wasn't crowded at all.

I guess we have to give players a go. Acclimatise. Or get the cheque book out - loan deal - get Boxal back.

Any comments on Rossi?

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

both dura and Rossi looked good. not much pressure once faty went off though. I think people have spoken prematurely of duras demise. showed plenty of toe at key times.

Certainly promising, but then again it was a 10 man CCM.

Dura will be fine, playing alongside an Italien trained defender will be the closest for him to get a Maldini feeling. Italien accent and swear words of Rossi will give Dura wings.

Yes, he getting older but was injury free all the years and as leader not replaceable. He will be good for us this season.
