Gone through all the age groups and played for the National side. Must be pretty good!

He was selected for the full Danish team last year, but hasn't actually played a game for them.

Like a number of ecuadorian footballers, including Ivan Kaviedes (above), Zura dons a mask in tribute to Otilino Tenorio (aka spiderman) who died in a car crash in may 2005 (aged 25)

Milligan Joins The Jets
<!-- // tools, pic, related, island ad --> EXCLUSIVE: Olyroo skipper Mark Milligan is set to be unveiled as a Newcastle Jets player within the hour, au.fourfourtwo.com can exclusively reveal. After searching for a club for more than six months after leaving Sydney FC at the end of last season, Milligan is set for a shock return to the A-League.

Newcastle Jets are understood to have finalised a deal for the centreback to join the club for seven weeks as a replacement player.

With key Jets youngsters away on Young Socceroos duties, the door has been opened for clubless Milligan to join on a short-term contract.

Although the stint will be a slap in the face for the ambitious youngster who had his sights set firmly on a deal in Europe, it could prove vital to his future.

After trials with clubs like Arsenal, Werder Bremen and Porto were hampered by visa issues, Milligan has fallen off the national team radar.

Manager Pim Verbeek warned Milligan he was putting his Socceroo place on hold while he was without a club.

Aside from the Olympics, Milligan has not played competitively since February.

More to follow..

I think he's a good signing, everyone is bagging him for leaving Sydney, but wouldn't you too?  I think its fair that he tried to further his career, obviously the time is not right so he came back...fair call..

He well and truly burnt his bridges with Sydney, I think they even offered an easy get out clause in his contract but he still buggered off. Trials at Arsenal, Werder Bremen, Port, clubs in France etc. and nothing. Dont know if he tried any second/third tier leagues. Obviously got some bad advice; looking back now he probably should have stayed in oz, continue getting picked for the national team and wait till an opportunity arises. Other than a handful of games for Oz, which I am sure Pim picked him so that he could qualify for a visa, he hasnt played since Feb.

Deffinitly returning with a smaller head and tail between his leg. A lesson to be learnt for other aspiring footballers.

As long as he plays well in the A-League and get picked for the South Africa 2010 squad, then he can play well there and try to get himself noticed by scouts

No big surprise given he was a marquee, that story definately makes it seem he struggled living in Oz but (despite not scoring) he's shown great skills (at times) so he could have settled into a great player....

Jade north to North Qld as marquee
Personally I'm not to sure about having defenders for marquees but maybe it could work given he won't be expected to attack, score and be generally exciting.

yeh I might have said this but that game where he missed the penalty, I think there were something like 23 balls into the box, and he put in most of them, but the strikers were sh*tehouse. Seemed to have a decent range of passes and skill, but didn't settle consistently. Sad to see him go, I thought possibly that if he got one goal he might have been away.
