Anyone else wondering why the A-League logo is missing the wide border thingy?

I think it's because the Nix/Adidas are moving to having the sponsor logos (in particular, the Huawei one) printed onto the shirt itself (in the same way the stripes are printed on) rather than as a sticker on the front. In the past they haven't been able to do this because the sponsorships havent been confirmed far enough in advance, but now that Huawei are on board, they can.

"I have watched a few documentaries about it and I read some stuff on the internet. Everything says it's brilliant, says the people are nice and the place is lovely. I've watched a lot of videos. It's a really technical league, a really fast league and it's a good league."

I think he meant that it's technically a real league.

Or it's an A and therefore well above an X, Y or Z League.

No. Half my balls are on the line ready to be dragged back.

Thought he was rather good yesterday. Could see him scoring 5-6 goals this season with his Tim Brown-esque late runs into the box.

I thought he was great yesterday. One of our best. His partnership with Riera is going to be awesome for us. So good to have two players in midfield who don't panic on the ball and know how to close down space. You can see that they trust each other already also.

Just confused about what to call him? Alejandro? Alex? Gorrin? Rodriguez?

Ive loved his performances in the last two matches. Not to get to carried away but heck, he seems like a handy pick up. for someone so young to be so comfortable on the ball, while also playing the exact style we want is fantastic for the team. I guess that is why he was sunderlands youth captain. great signing by ernie. I was trying to rack my brain and think of any matches in Vince lia's existance at the club where he has put in a shift like A-Rod has the last two matches.

Alex Rodriguez

Not to be confused with Alex Rufer or Albert Riera.

He is an absolute boss.At the open training on Friday him Albert and WeeMac spent a decent chunk of the session passing the ball together , talking ETC and look like they will (hopefully) be a quality midfield unit

I strongly believe we have the best 6 midfielders in the comp in Gorrin, Wee Mac, Kenny, Roly, Riera and Burns. We just need one if them to be a striker......

Gorrin looks decent though
