Good days accidental stalking today.

Spotted Ifill waiting for the lads to go to training this morning, then at lunch Leo, Lucas and - unless we've signed another late twenties Greek - Dani Sanchez wandered by and topped it off by wandering past Mrs Ifill out taking the junior junior Ifill for a stroll.

Starf**king ftw.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Weka Park, damn... I grew up 2 minutes walk from there. (So did Nathan Greenham, apparently.)

No T.V. coverage but I believe there could be some bi-sexuals in the crowd willing to report back to you

That game at Weka Park is about a 25-30 min walk from the train station, not that bad. Probs gonna go up to it.Azevo2011-08-05 19:52:49

Right, I just saw the route google maps outlined, that definitely would take 42 mins haha, I'd be taking a different route, skipping on through coastlands car park and then down rimu rd. Then of course there is the bus which is 2$ Doesn't Ricki live in Raumati now? possible reason for the location of the match?...

If the weather is nice, I'm keen. Could organise a little something.Azevo2011-08-05 20:19:47

Walk thru Coastlands car park, follow the walking track down the stream, takes you directly to Weka park, 2.5 kms, 20 mins max (although it did take me an hour to walk it the morning after the Bahrain game )

Cheers, I really shouldn't trust google as much as I already do... Hopefully we get enough people there to form the first Fever Zone of the season.

anyone know if there is going to be training on Wednesday morning at Newtown 2? I'm thinking if there is, then I'll go there and then to Midland Park afterwards.
I'm also preparing to go to Weka Park on Sunday, so an exciting week coming up!

I couldn't find the appropriate thread, sorry.
Anyway according to this report Manny played the full 90' for Malta in an international friendly match vs Portugal. It's great that we have international players on our books. the more the better.
Shame I can't find any highlights of the game though

You are in the right thread, 90 mins against Portugal is good enough training for an upcoming Nix season

He'll be well over it by now as that game was played in 2009

Malta played a friendly on the 11th August and neither he nor John Hutchinson were in the team. They beat central African republic 2 - 1 in the game

oh really??? stupid wikipedia! it redirected me to the FIFA website and I thought it would have been up to date!!!

so Manny has not been involved with his NT?
Shame - I thought he's been so good over the last couple of years. And having watched 2 Nix games in pre-season he was without a doubt our stand out player so far

Being more helpful this time, the Nix have today off I think and leave for Melbourne on Wednesday so your only hope is Tuesday morning at Newtown Park.
